Who is the BIGGER club

2 x runner's up in FA cup finals for a start.

I also believe you might find this on the internet

Which lancashire football clubs have won a European cup

Preston have never been in a tournament outside of Britain which will irk Lilywhites but not as much as the fact that Blackpool are the only Lancashire club to have won a European trophy.5 Jun 2021

Hardly surprising given our decades of being in the lower leagues with zero ambition under crap owners.

Yet in a comparison today at at the same level, BFC, nobbers and rovers wouldn't average much different at the same position and prices etc.

We've already seen this the season we came up and we even managed to make way more than the nobbers. If they were such a 'bigger club' this wouldn't be the case, they'd be able to attract more than us at similar prices or make more at lower ones. They do get more for big one off games and that makes sense given they've had a completed ground for ages, big cup games etc to attract casuals over many years.

We are still behind, but in a way its exciting as we have all that growth ahead following years of crap. We're still in the very early stages of SS and we don't even have the stadium finished yet.

As for the winners, I believe they are 'closing in' on 8k ST this season, albeit at a bit higher prices, after being in the playoff hunt the last few seasons. We sold 8k under Appleton.

We're behind, but at equal circumstances there isn't an awful lot in it in attendances.

Wrong. Weren’t Man United and Liverpool in Lancashire, if they are classed as not being so now, when they won the European Cups?

Should the Nobbers not be compared with Accrington, Fleetwood and Morecambe as the teams who have never played in the Premier League and Blackpool, Burnley and Blackburn in the elite category?
Putting the knobbers in the same category as Accrington Fleetwood and Morecambe is an insult to those three clubs tbh.

Irrespective if it was BFC, it matters not a jot. It's about who will be the biggest club. Two of those are perennial nowhere's, Burnley are doing the biz and under Simon Sadler, we will- not everything can be done at the click of fingers.

Not much it in outside of Blackburn and Burnley having significantly more success (especially over the last 50 odd years) than PNE and us.

Rovers
Burnley

PNE
Blackpool

Accy

Fleetwood.

I think it’s quite sad that a grown man( if the OP is currently identifying as a male) feels such a sense of inadequacy in life.
Too much butter pie ... me thinks.🧡😉

You actually put on your 1st post, NO MORE TO ADD.
Please adhere to your statement and FRO👍🏻
I wouldn't reply but when some idiots dart to abuse me rather than take the post as it was meant to be taken (of interest/to be pulled to peices) therefore, I felt I had the right to reply to them. 👍

Who made him the arbiter of all things football?

Hardly a well known pundit, but goes to show how desperate Norfolk is that he puts it up despite Nobbers being nowhere.

Anyway, Blackburn might have been the answer 30 years ago, but not these days.

Burnley is the current answer.
Not desperate at all, posted something that related to our clubs plus BR and Burnley. If I had wanted to post something about how much better North End are I wouldn't have posted this would I.

Soon as the yokel bearded idiot started speaking and couldn't get his mic levels right I stopped watching!

Depends on the measurement you use?
If we look past a time when the most deadly attacker in the league was Typhus or Cholera and actually look over let’s say past 30 years?

Well despite us having the Adams family as owners and you having a billionaire I’d say just Wembley / Cardiff appearances and winning finals would be a good measure of superiority.

Or you could pole kids on teams they’ve heard of for popularity reasons? Most teenagers outside of our region probably would struggle to know PKE exist? They’ll have never played them on FIFA as that’s mainly Prem teams. They’ll maybe have been to Blackpool as tourists and seen the Seasiders play.

So on recent final wins and popularity I’m guessing you’re rock bottom? There’s to decent measures of ‘biggest’.

Exactly, how many playoff wins? European honours? Well known legends, most famous fa cup final...Etc etc.

Fact is we've had a rough recent history that affects the perception of the club and understandably so.

I'm actually looking forward to something big happening to the club and soon, like the east being done and the stadium completed, or completed to the size we're happy with for now, with room to expand if needed. It will present a much better and more professional feel, as well as being better for usable attendances.

We havent even had that completed stadium which shows how far behind the others we are in some aspects. We've only just really got our act together and are acting like a proper club again.

Others have had decades of relative normality.

It's exciting to think where we can be and what we can do in 5 or 10 years, if they get it right of course. We have actual long term plans, with the TG and developing an academy etc, a club model.

The nobbers just seem to be on a cost cutting exercise each season.

Just read PNE ON Line to see who the Bigger Whoppers are - they make our fans rank amateurs at complaining!
