Why bother having reserved seating ???

Absolute carnage today regarding seating (although the majority of us stood up throughout). Why do they even bother allocating seats ?
Surely unreserved / stand or sit where you want is the best way forward. We were so split that our singing was out of its regular harmony.

If allocated seating they can sell full capacity but I think it is limited to 75% if unreserved
why would that be. If capacity 2000 seats doesnt matter if reserved or unreserved still 2000 seats 500 have not disappeared stupid rule if true what happens with standing terraces capacity x tickets sold x no reserved

So the fact the staff aren't allowed to say how many away supporters will be (in a "dunno" way") messes the club choir up?

It was sit anywhere today. That’s what the stewards told us on arrival. 👍
Think you was told differently to others. I/lots of others were told to hand over tickets so they could show us to allocated seats. Stewards were over run closer to kick off which led to people climbing up the and over the wall.

We didn’t arrive till 3-02 so possibly changed by then ??

It's always a difficult one away matches cos you get different supporters who some want to sit some want to stand, some elderly, some with kids all mixed together so it will always have the potential to create issues and unfortunately we seem to live in a world where nobody thinks about anyone elses enjoyment only their own and that's across the board for all fans whether u sit or stand. It would be better if you could buy a ticket and specify say family or singing and they start filling up from either side of the allocation but it ain't gonna happen so will always be problems.

I personally wish no one any harm, but hope that some of those who consider standing whilst other, older, fans behind them struggle to stand for the entirety of a game, suffer with arthritic knees like mine as they get older, then, they will understand why their, I'm all right jack and bugger you, stance, is wrong.

This morning I have two wonderfully swollen and sore knees thanks to these inconsiderate people.

I agree. We were shown where our seats were. But then we were in our seats about 35 minutes before ko, and didn't turn up about 5 or 10 minutes before ko expecting to be sit next to their mates in the choir section.
