Why are no Scottish players in self isolationy
you can't tell me that mount came into more contact with gilmour than any other Scottish players
I live up here and am already getting abuse for flying my st George's cross!
So God knows what it will be like if they beat Croatia

They won't.
 
Listening to Matt Hancock this morning on GMB trying to explain it away was absolutely painful he even said it was a matter for Public Health Scotland and the Scotland team even though l believe their training camp is in Middlesborough, not that that matters l suppose.
 
Basically it is the difference between Public Health England being a hindrance to our national side, whereas PHS protecting theirs. To have 2 opposition players out who tested negative, yet only 1 from Scotland who has actually tested positive is beyond reason.
 
Nobody actually said it, but the thing is if the rules were applied the same as we are having to adhere to, whole squads wouldn't be able to play & they might as well pack the competition in full stop & for many it's proving to be a little respite from the monotony of the current situation, so ssssshhhhh don't ask questions you won't like the honest answers to.
 
From an England point of view it makes sense not risking infection to the rest of the squad for the campaign moving forward.
From a Scotland point of view if they all isolated they would have to withdraw from tournament. Don’t think any of the powers that be have got the balls or political will to take that decision and suffer the backlash.

Yep absolutely farcical really, rules applied unevenly but as said above if they did apply it probably the whole tournament ends up being off.

But it does gripe the one rule for one one for another.

Its clear he will have been in contact with many scotland players and staff so its a joke they aren't all isolating.

We had to put up with players missing for BFC....

Tbf outside is very low risk so England players would probably be ok but the scotland lads will have been inside next to each other for ages.

Absolute pantomime with this random application of rules.

Is it UEFA applying the rules or PHE? It's PHE that have set the rules for England and that's the rules for the team to follow. Have UEFA even got involved or commented. The inconsistency is because the Scottish health authority have allowed their players/squad to get away with it.
