It’s a bit of a bugger if we have wait for weaker opposition to hope for a result.I expect (hope really) for a different starting line up and some issues to be ironed out a bit.
That combined with different and maybe slightly weaker opposition might get a better performance and you never know perhaps a better result.

I personally think there has to be a balance between your position of an extreme small time mentality.Same players ? Same tactics ? And the same ( inbred) view that “We should be beating teams like these”. Should we ? Do we ?
In the last 45 years, Pool have enjoyed about 10 years in the upper reaches of the football pyramid. Reality check needed !
True. Critchley has lots of options to change things though, but would he, will he and could that make enough of a difference?
not sure there's any players playing for us who played for us 45 years ago. nonsense o/p.Same players ? Same tactics ? And the same ( inbred) view that “We should be beating teams like these”. Should we ? Do we ?

I must admit, with all respect to the opening poster, I've just bought an ice cream in the lakes, wandered over to a 3 bar gate and am watching the lambs in the field all gambolling around and I thought of the OP and I thought, what a load of bollux.not sure there's any players playing for us who played for us 45 years ago. nonsense o/p.
Correct our home night match results are dire.Because we have some midweek home curse, where we play shit and this is a Saturday game.
3 bar kit kats are betterI must admit, with all respect to the opening poster, I've just bought an ice cream in the lakes, wandered over to a 3 bar gate and am watching the lambs in the field all gambolling around and I thought of the OP and I thought, what a load of bollux.
ps I buy a lot of ice cream in the lakes by 3 bar gates.
If the lambs are frolicking, shouldn't it be a 3 baa gateI must admit, with all respect to the opening poster, I've just bought an ice cream in the lakes, wandered over to a 3 bar gate and am watching the lambs in the field all gambolling around and I thought of the OP and I thought, what a load of bollux.

Wellens won't be there.I EXPECT us to play a helluva lot better.
I HOPE that Richie Wellens (one of my favourite players to have worn our world-famous Tangerine shirt) gets a decent reception from our fans.
Or, "play on the grass," as Critchley also likes to say, whether that be on the front foot or the back foot ...We will be playing a side with lots of injuries, probably a rookie goalkeeper, missing last years leading scorer, plus their manager and asst manager. If we cant win .........
Surely must go on the attack or play on the " front foot," as Critchley likes to say .
we didn't concede a goal, marv defended well and you want to drop him [bollux to the word rest] . Crazy.I just think after Tuesday rest Marv and see how these three do. Marv didn’t have the best game tbf
I just want to see how the other three play together. It’s not about dropping him reallywe didn't concede a goal, marv defended well and you want to drop him [bollux to the word rest] . Crazy.
Because we’re picking the team. An AVFTT collective decision we’ll put it to the vote.Same players ? Same tactics ? And the same ( inbred) view that “We should be beating teams like these”. Should we ? Do we ?

I believe that in general the fans that were booing were not booing individual players ,but the poor tactics that were being used , which at no time in the first half was there any attempt to sort out.I personally think there has to be a balance between your position of an extreme small time mentality.
And booing players because we've played shit.
Patience is needed, considering we've fired on 0 cylinders so far, we've got 5 points and conceded 0 goals.
I'll never boo during a game & only in exceptional circumstances (Oystons etc) but I thought they were booing the ref (if that's still allowed)I believe that in general the fans that were booing were not booing individual players ,but the poor tactics that were being used , which at no time in the first half was there any attempt to sort out.
Nothing is allowed, not even tits and fanny songsI'll never boo during a game & only in exceptional circumstances (Oystons etc) but I thought they were booing the ref (if that's still allowed)
