Why the doubters keep getting proven wrong

Faith without doubt isn't faith. It's just blind adherence to a set of precepts because they are the social norm.

I've literally just made that up but it sounds wise 🤣
What if you have faith in something that defies social norms?!

Like Gary Madine? I have a lot of faith in him and big Gaz walks the line for sure.
I have very little faith in him. You're right about the walking though. 🤠

he does warn on the front page of the article it might not be for you chaps.
Yes these people just offer themselves up like lambs to the slaughter. How shall we torture them next?

No he just said it might not be for the negative moaning types, that's all he said.
Reminded me very much of our absent and supercilious friend BRR.... That compulsory swipe at 'lesser supporters'...

They haven't travelled as far as me, aren't as supportive a supporter as me, don't spend as much money as me etc...

Our fans are great... Any opposition fans reading this article will get a completely false perspective about our supporters. That's a real shame

That's just your interpretation. For which you are solely responsible! 🤠

And I'm sticking to it....🙃

I'm resigned to the fact that I won't be getting my 'end of season' supporters medal (ever). Though I don't think I could ever be described as 'A negative moaning type'... It's very rare for me to say anything negative ever about a Blackpool Team or Manager. I think the last player I was critical of was David Perkins (and that's because he was useless).

Obviously we all have our opinions and different views on all aspects of our club set up, team etc, but a small handful of posters seem to hover over their keyboard in readiness to condemn how the team is set up, pick on a particular player if things aren’t going well, and that can happen after a matter of the game only being 15/20 mins old! Invariably it’s the ones who never wanted Critchley as manager from the off that start this criticism, then slowly come round once we either start clicking and go on to win the game. Sadly they’ll do it all again the following game. IMO of course.

Lytham

I don't know who or what you consider to be a doubter ?

I could be wrong but I'm thinking that somebody who expressed concerns about our performance against X might be considered a doubter and they are then considered to be proved wrong after our performance/result improves in our next match against Y ?

I think that it's perfectly possible to express concerns about our performance against X, without offering an opinion on our performance against Y.

In such a case, I don't think it's possible for the person expressing concerns about our performance against X to be proved wrong, unless of course you don't agree with their opinions on the performance against X in the first place.
We should be beating X tbf, not even a real team so I can see why people were upset.

Our friend BRR is not absent.

He has posted on this thread but under a different username.

I think you hit the nail on the head with the "Small handful of posters"

No Way!

Said it time and time again, it’s about balance.

People are allowed to be upset and criticise the club.

But then you have the same people popping up on here and on social media who seem to jump at the opportunity to moan, rarely have anything positive to say and are clearly too embedded with their own personal agendas that they will never, ever admit they were wrong.

Oh the irony...
