Wigan put up for sale

They're a mess. I'm not sure how anyone could believe what their owner says. They clearly don't have the money to fund a football club.

Yet another terrible owner somehow amazingly getting past the strict EFL ownership test. I could see further points deductions coming, possible admin if the statement of a buyer being found isn't true. Continually failing to meet their promises.
Anyone wanting another owner because they might have more resources than SS, well this is the other possibility.

Well it's one possibility, could get someone very rich and genuine. I guess you never quite know.

But yeah I'd rather not gamble it, we're still set to really take off with our own long term plan in the pipeline and have someone who genuinely cares about and loves the club.
 
Two directors resigned because the ownership group keeps promising money that doesn’t arrive. Not sure why we’d believe that a new owner is going to turn up
 
What a crap statement that is. I for one don’t believe it for a minute. Admin and points deductions I’m guessing then a fire sale
