But aren't these the same players that are on daft wages? Suspect they are more likely to try for championship clubs first.... Before signing in league 1 on the last day of the transfer window

Looking at some of the figures being bandied about, their wage bill from last season was pretty big - well in excess of £20m.

I think on the latest accounts they were spending 157% of turnover on wages (something like that, anyway). Given TV revenue has just fallen off a cliff, that suggests to me that a fairly major re-design of the squad is going to be needed.
 
Did a job for a lad who came up from Plymouth .He worked at Plymouth Argyle as his dad was the football director at the club but wanted to do media for Wigan Athletic. Think he might be ringing his dad for his old job back.
