Had a a email today from the Wigan ticket office and there will be charging us £30 for a League One match, they have other prices in different categories at £20 & £25.

Surely now we need a bring the Twenty Is Plenty motto now in the lower leagues?

Do prices have to be the same for the home fans ? I don’t mean st holders
Can’t remember what I paid for Wigan away last year in the championship

Same price as last season.
If a club decides to have a Category system on prices so be it.

The problem with 20 is plenty is you start to piss off your home supporters who buy tickets match by match.

As above same as last year, we were Cat A.

These were the prices against another Cat A

Ticket Prices
Adults (22-64) - £30

Seniors (65+) - £20

Under 22s (18-21) - £20

Under 18s (12-17) - £10 *

Under 12s (2-11) - £5 *

Do Wigan have a temp stand on its way out with no facilities, entry and exit issues and also following advice due to a lot of issues in recent years?
So what’s the difference then because many games in the past we've given out many more tickets often between 3,000-3,900?
It only seems to be an issue this season of limiting away fans to just 2k.

Yep lowest ticket price for aways unless they do some special ticket deal for home fans or have a membership scheme.

The difference is probably that the club are under scrutiny after issues and warnings etc, so this season are following an action plan and trying to limit risk?

You've said yourself there wasn't an issue in the past so why would they limit it unless there was a legitimate reason, makes no financial sense.
