Fantastic run? We won 2 games in a row, ok 1 was great against Portsmouth, we've won back to back games twice all season. We forgot we were footballers vs a poor Northampton side, beat a crap Carlisle comfortably, then folded aginst a poor Cambridge side.

I'm not one saying get rid but this fantastic run talk is nonesense.

We're the definition of inconsistent and as it stands we're going absolutely nowehere. Too many times we go completely missing.

I've yet to meet a "football fan" that is ecstatic, win draw or lose. Similarly I'm yet to meet a "football fan" who is utterly gloomy win, draw or lose. 🤷 It's a game that stirs emotions.

Ah, but let's not allow real facts and indeed reality get in the way of the irrational ranters on AVFTT. After every loss it is the same, wholesale change is needed at the club. If the next manager comes in and wins 2 out of his first 10 games, let's sack that useless ** too! Ffs, we may be in League 1 for a few seasons yet, get real. Some clubs in this division have been knocking on the door for years and haven't gone up...but Blackpool of course should be defying all reason and pissing this league.

Many quarters touted Blackpool to go up automatic before a ball was even kicked, and had Critch listened, removed his ego, learned from his numerous mistakes and stopped with ridiculous formations we could well be proving the pundits right?

I guess some supporters are simply more ambitious than others
 
All critchleys fault judging by this thread……does no one remember the window and the last day where we brought in nothing and our manager had to lie and say he was happy with his lot. Sadler doesn’t want promotion this season it’s blindingly obvious

He does but I don't think he has an eye for a manager and he takes criticism badly. He isn't going to pot Critchley this season and I'd be surprised. if he does next, he's made his bed and to pot him in the near future or in the new year would mean he had to admit he made an error. We have to hope we can become consistent, because as it stands we are heading for 10th place well off the play offs and well off relegation, we should be better than that with the players we have.
 
Compare lineup v Oxford playoff 2021 to Saturdays.

Not sure Critch is helping much but firstly need better players for promotion.

How about I give you another scenario. What if Critchley wasn't lying and was happy with his lot?
