"Will Simon act in time... or not?"
Not.
We are fuming, Chunky. Let us fume haMorning you reactionary lot. Would it be a good time to re run the should the manager go poll?
I’m pissed off to the max too Gaz.We are fuming, Chunky. Let us fume ha
Fantastic run? We won 2 games in a row, ok 1 was great against Portsmouth, we've won back to back games twice all season. We forgot we were footballers vs a poor Northampton side, beat a crap Carlisle comfortably, then folded aginst a poor Cambridge side.Players let the Head coach down horrendously.
We’ve just been on a fantastic run of scoring threes and fours and nobody was complaining then. While he’s not beyond criticism, to talk of sacking him is utter bullocks.
This forum is the usual knee jerk vitriolic bullshit as it’s always been but in all truth much worse.
Sadler won’t be sacking him and Critchley will get us into the play offs and you’ll all be there lapping it up too. It’s how it works.
We have to be one of the most reactionary fan bases in the league. I mean, we laugh at PKE for loving Lowe one week and then want him out the next, yet some here are just as bad. I dont agree with the tactics and think we needed the subs made earlier. Critch also does my head in with the starting 11 most games, but we still have over half a season to go yet and we are right in the mix. Let's also remember that we are chronically shit over the festive period, I can't remember the last time I've been a happy football fan at Christmas. So we have that to look forward to as well.
Ah, but let's not allow real facts and indeed reality get in the way of the irrational ranters on AVFTT. After every loss it is the same, wholesale change is needed at the club. If the next manager comes in and wins 2 out of his first 10 games, let's sack that useless ** too! Ffs, we may be in League 1 for a few seasons yet, get real. Some clubs in this division have been knocking on the door for years and haven't gone up...but Blackpool of course should be defying all reason and pissing this league. We are 6th in the form table over the last 5 matches . I would say that doesn’t justify a managerial change at present .
I've got just one question. Who, exactly, is the individual responsible for selecting the players guilty of committing such a myriad of footballing indescretions? How is players switching off and letting attackers get behind them be Critchley's fault or a bad lino decision or giving ball away and then Grimshaw diving in or 4 diabolical crosses in a row at the end including Husband falling over his feet. It was a poor performance but nothing to do with formation or team Critchley selected.

Is our squad really championship quality? Our best player cant get in the Huddersfield teamNot an advocate of wanting people to lose their jobs but if Simon had acted a few weeks earlier in sacking Mick McCarthy, we might still be playing Championship football. We have a Championship squad, Championship facilities, many pundits shout out for automatic promotion but a manager who has no idea how to get us back to the Championship without an experienced No 2 holding his hand. Today's footballing lesson from Cambridge UTD just shows how disjointed our season is, and the absolute inability we seemingly have in doing anything about it..
Sadly we're now at an impasse where Simon needs to:
A) get Critch some help
or
B) Bring in someone who knows what their doing, because today could be Rhodes' last game, and take away his goals/goal threat and we'd be languishing low/mid table at best..
Bollux, of course he doesAll critchleys fault judging by this thread……does no one remember the window and the last day where we brought in nothing and our manager had to lie and say he was happy with his lot. Sadler doesn’t want promotion this season it’s blindingly obvious
He does but I don't think he has an eye for a manager and he takes criticism badly. He isn't going to pot Critchley this season and I'd be surprised. if he does next, he's made his bed and to pot him in the near future or in the new year would mean he had to admit he made an error. We have to hope we can become consistent, because as it stands we are heading for 10th place well off the play offs and well off relegation, we should be better than that with the players we have.Bollux, of course he does
Who do you think you are coming on here and talking sense?
