Will this be the worst Derby ever?

Still look forward to it but also dread it should the result not go our way.

But not exactly building up for a classic encounter.

Probably be a cracker of a game now I've said that....

We should be in a better position with regards our formation, players gelling in midfield etc.

Two sets of fans not particularly engaged in what is going on, two sets of players who don't seem to have any ideas or passion and two managers who might not be here by Christmas - sounds like it could be a classic!!
Also we do have passion, scored a cracking goal yesterday, just were let down by 2 lapses of concentration defensively and also we're not ino set up optimally to get the most out of what we have.

It will be a blank canvass on the day, with the issues mentioned above being shelved.
We have 4 (plus Hull) very difficult games before the nobber game & they have 3 that are difficult (plus Hudders & Stoke). The table could look very different by 22 Oct.
I just pray that we play like we did at home last season, and not like the embarrassing displays over the last week & at Dumpdale last season.

It’s never going to be the worst derby ever, we look for those two games first when the fixtures come out, we dream for months about winning 4-0, or Williams getting a 90th minute winner & going mental with his celebration, or Connolly steaming into one of the nobber players then getting sent off after 20 seconds & us still going on to win 3-0,patino getting a hatrick, the last goal coming from a penalty but Jerry unselfishly gives him the ball, it’s never ever going to be the worst derby ever because it’s what football is all about …..having said that pne away last year was a totally depressing wank fest

Arguably it might be the worst but looking at the form of the teams and how they are playing, maybe the most crucial.

We need to find some form and continuity. October looks a tough month but that doesn't give the manager or players a free pass, quite often we produce when least expected. The 2 week break maybe helps Appleton and his team to review recent performances and come up with a better plan. I can honestly see the Nobber game as a watershed moment for 1 club.

Stakes will be massive for both managers, don't think its quite on the scale of one will be potted if they don't win but both know a win puts 'em both in good stead with the fans when both are in a bit of a rough patch (things could change by the time for both sides to be fair).

With that being said it'll end 0 - 0.

The electricity in the air will make your hair stand up like Ken Dodd's and when the stench of the Nobber crowd wafts into your nostrils you will vomit your pre match pie over your tangerine suede shoes. It will be brilliant!👍👍

Nothing shall ever eclipse their cup final at Deepdale in the Carling Cup. Biggest derby ever & totally worthy of a pitch invasion 🤣

They have Sunderland (a), West From (h), Norwich (a), Stoke (h), Huddersfield (a) before they meet us - arguably an easier run than we've got and therefore maybe less pressure on Lowe.
