A heavy pitch can be dangerous. Do we want more injuries, bookings or sendings-off? Referees, in such circumstances, can demur on the side of caution and be somewhat whistle-happy. That would not be a good spectacle. The only problem with postponing the match is the build up of fixtures towards the end of the season.

Get it played and get them beat. We need a win. I'm not into wanting things called off if everything isn't ideal. You roll your sleeves up in adversity and get stuck in.

Whats the current fy1 update from people nearby, I know it said heavy rain a lot today, yet near Kirkham same forecast but its just been spitting really, so not as bad as it seemed.
If similar at Bloomfield Road then shouldn't be any issue. Weve seen way worse downpours...
