Williams says Goodbye in a Tweet!

Thanks from me as well.
Returning to Liverpool at this point in time is most definitely "out of the cauldron and into the fire".

Thanks for your commitment. Rhys.
You always gave 100%, and showed great maturity, in ignoring the unwelcome grief that some supporters gave you, due to your family supporting PNE.
Critchley can learn from your tweet of appreciation.
Good luck for the future, we'll watch your career from now, with much interest.
As for Pool; we can now recruit a grizzly, robust, nasty & 'mature' CH.

Always gave his all, wasn't really 1st choice. Good defender at times in and around him, but lacks pace, better passer than Ekipteta. Would no doubt have improved a bit with a run of games and confidence.

Thanks for the effort 👍

Many thanks for the words and respect you have shown Blackpool FC shame it didn’t work out as well as we all might have hoped, but shown far more class on departure than other people leaving out club. Hope you go on and have a great career 👍👍👍

Seemed like a well grounded and good lad. Just not at the standard. I hope he forges a decent career somewhere in the game. Good luck to him.

Looked a player in there when he first arrived. Working with a coach who didn't seem able to get the best or even the basics out of a defence hasn't helped him. But think he'll do well in the future.

He must have read how not to leave Bfc on here. No seriously he started to improve I thought & I wish him well.

He came across as a nice lad in the couple of interviews I’ve seen with him
As others have said that’s a nice message
Fair play to him

Looked a lot better on his natural side covering for Marv, sometimes it takes time for the penny to drop for these young lads, he has all the attributes to become a top defender. Good luck to him

Throwing him at our back four and just expecting him to get on with it seemed optimistic as he didn't look or sound the most confident to me. Following on from what they'd established with Keogh and by effectively removing the defensive midfield shield in front. Individuals working as individuals not a group.

Even in a three MA subbed him off at Hudds straight away when he lost his head to save him from getting a quick double booking, and was maybe the day when he sort of gave up on him. So I just couldn't see how it was going to work. Unless he suddenly morphed into a confident defensive monster and ended up winning the captains armband lottery.

I'm convinced Jimmy Husband chopped the topknot off to try and get Appleton to take him seriously having seen what was happening to us!

It looks like they'd already made the decision to try and stop this loan and find another to replace him in this window. Which has now gone through even with the change of manager and MM has someone different to pick from. And maybe they're not finished there if there's plans to change formation.

Thanks for your hard work Rhys and best of luck! Hopefully you enjoyed your time with us.

He definitely improved in his last few games.
He might have another loan worked out that works for everyone and be an opponent soon in a better organised defence than he was in here and then be able to use his experiences here to kick on. It happens.

Good player but not used to the rough and tumble of the Championship at first. Likely to be in the Liverpool squad while Virgil is missing. Good luck Rhys. Class tweet.
