Wings of a Sparrow

With all the current nobber uproar I'm surprised we haven't heard a few chants of one of my favourites about the young sparrow relieving itself.

remind us of the lyrics , we need this chant and ideally another one about them crying like babies about the tickets

I have it as
If I had the wings of a Sparrow
And the arse of a dirty black Crow
I'd fly over !!!!dale tomorrow
And sh!t on the b@stards below below

Sh!t on, sh!t on
Sh!t on the b@stards below

Plus whilst we have them surrounded in the ground at Bloomfield maybe a nice friendly rendition of "and we all carry hatchets to bury in your head" will help them feel welcome

The original version going back to the sixties and early seventies was angel. I don't recall it changing later to sparrow but it may well have done.

Think there is some confusion

He is only a poor little sparrow
His wings are all tattered and torn

Not sure of all the rest but think hit with a brick and don''t sing anymore featured

I always sang it as

If I had the wings of a sparrow
If I had the arse of a crow
I’d fly over preston tomorrow
And shit on the b@stards below… below

Last remembered singing on the coach at Coventry away night match when Dion Dublin came on and scored a couple to beat us
