Just potted their manager what strange timing. 🤷‍♂️

Edited
It wound appear this was by mutual consent but still strange timing pretty much on the eve of the new Premiership season.

Apparently he's wanted out for a while and agreed to stay coaching the team whilst they looked for a replacement.

Very good manager who they've wanted for a long, long time. Then they get him, sell the best player and don't recruit. All very odd.

It's all to do with FFP and having to cut back massively, hence the loss of no less than 25 players this summer. He's protecting his record and doesn't want a relegation against his name having been misled by the board 9 months ago. Wolves could easily be one of the bottom 3. Their fans don't seem to want Gary O'Neil who will be announced soon. As good as he did for Bournemouth, this will be a bigger challenge, not just because of the squad at his disposal but because of the expectations they have at Molyneux.

Whilst Wolves may struggle, you will have to be tragically shit to go down this year. So many poor bottom half teams, and of the 3 promoted teams, Sheff Utd are absolutely nailed on to go down,

Luton are playing the long game to build a new stadium on the back of their promotion. Their season will probably resemble our EPL season but without the entertainment or goals.

So that’s just one place available with a string of shit teams as candidates to fill it. So you can take a chance till New Year and see where you are then and if you need to spend to stay up.

So much in the EPL also depends on the order of your fixtures. Best example last year was Palace who didn’t win in 10, sacked Viera prior to a run in which consisted of the bottom 8 plus Tottenham. Which unsurprisingly they did very well in.

Shef Utd may challenge Derby's points record. They're down before a ball is kicked. Losing their 2 best players without replacing them is bordering on criminal. I think the whole of Sheffield will be sulking come May!

Luton are an odd one, totally different style to us under Ollie but I have a feeling they will put up a decent fight. I still think they'll eventually get found out.

Then it's between Everton, Wolves, Bournemouth, Burnley and Forest. And I'd probably put them in that order. I'd love to be the first team to beat Everton in their new stadium, in the Championship, next season. 😬
