You just have thoughIf you're not bothered an out it then why start a thread about it? I don't like golf, so I don't talk about it, see how easy that is?
TouchéYou just have though
This sums it up pretty well. I've watched a few games with my daughter and she absolutely loves it. I'm just glad that she has women to look upto as well as men in football now. Each to their own, but I’m watching as much of it as I can (recording where necessary!)
It’s not as skilful as top flight men’s game, nor as consistent, but the errors make it more enjoyable at times, and there’s less (not entirely none) cynicism, less arguing with the ref, and less rolling around the floor in fake agony.
I’ve just watched the Philippines score their first ever goal at a World Cup, and the pure ecstasy on their faces when they went on to win was brilliant.
I was surprised at how good Haiti were when they played us. We were tipped to slap them 6-0 but actually they were well organised, very good in the press and we were lucky to win that. Overall its been a good tournament so far.It doesn't help the excitement level with the games being on so early in the morning. The last World Cup in France and the Euros proved that the women's game is well worth watching.
With this tournament I think we're seeing a bit of a swansong for the Americans, an understrength England side and a general improvement from a number of other countries so it's wide open. The best thing so far for me has been the lesser teams doing so well; long may that continue.
I don’t think you’re upsetting anyone, mate.hand grenade thrown. just an interesting discussion thread i thought .not wishing to upset anyone . and i am suprised no one had posted on it .

We’re definitely not as strong as we were for the Euros. It doesn't help the excitement level with the games being on so early in the morning. The last World Cup in France and the Euros proved that the women's game is well worth watching.

probably about twenty seconds. lol.How long did it take you to type that?
Sounds like your younger self would have loved to get behind themMy teenage self would be thoroughly aroused by the chance to watch 22 (23 with referee) lesbians running around on a pitch in footy kits for 90 mins!!!
My older self is horrified by what a misogynist I was and am just enjoying it as bloody good sport. Entertainment is entertainment is it not?
Get behind the Lionesses. They blooming well give it their all and make us proud.
Where the cup is an actual cupIt's England
I'd support and watch them even if it was tiddlywinks world cup !
