Worse away performance in my 40 years

It might not have been the worst away performance I've seen but it was bloody dreadful. Thing is why should we be surprised, Bowler is playing CM for fcuks sake and CJ is left wing back and Lavery is playing whilst Poveda and Rogers are on the bench and an actual left back isn't even in the squad.

I don't usually say this about Bret, but he did my head in today. He gave none stop praise of Boro (Chizy was equally as bad, but he usually does my head in 🤣). OK, they both agreed that Boro outplayed us, but I don't need to hear it repeatedly.
Boro are a good side, but today by not coming close to them, individually & as a team, shows how far backwards we've slipped.
Six points from the next two games will help no end.

I might get shot down for this, but that was much better than our performance at home against the same opposition in December. That was an utterly humiliating 3 0 defeat. Yesterday, if the header from Yates goes in, or the disallowed goal stands, it's a different game.

We weren't great, but to say it's the worst in 40 years totally overhyped it.

Totally agree. Goals change matches. We were doing ok at the start of the second half. Yates offside chance and his header that came off the post. Either of those and we would have been back in it . My glass is always half full but hey !
