Would you change the starting line up

Depends if any of the injured are back fit. Beyond potentially bringing in Hamilton for Virtue or Ward I wouldn’t make any changes.

They are indeed. Madine and Hamilton are there to be be considered too! Dougal for Stewart and Madine (if fit) for Simms are obvious changes. Embleton is a good shout but I'd rather see Mitchel get a shout rather than another team's player!
I think Mitchell is more of a super sub if we need a goal, I rate him loads though

Too early for Madine, CJ will be on the bench again and The Viking is only just back in training. NC may have a selection dilemma with Stewart and Dougall as they both can’t start. l'd give Stewart a well earned rest with the amount of games we still have to play.

We have to rest some players now it is two games a week.
Some players were looking tired last night.

Dougall, Turton, Embleton and Robson should be introduced on Saturday.
Husband should be fit and hopefully Madine on the bench.

Dougall in for Virtue is probably the only one for me if nobody at the back returns from injury. I think Ward has been playing well so see no need to change him out for Hamilton who is only just returning. Kaikai is on the bubble though, as much as I like him for what I think he can do he just never seems involved. Try to win the game early then give Stewart a rest.

I agree about Sullay.
I know he only played 57mins but his stats show 17 touches, 13 passes with 7 accurate, 3 in his own half and 1 shot.
He remains an enigma.

I think if we bring CJ back we might need to play Stewart and Dougall and just let CJ have a completely free role on the half way line.
It's then a choice between Ward and Virtue.
I think Crewe identified Thornley's lack of pace and played the ball behind him. To be honest that's how Hubby has also been caught out and with Eky out we are lacking pace in central defence.
We need Madine back to share the load with Simms if Critch doesn't see Ellis as a 90 minute player. We looked lost without a target man.

Time to give Kai Kai a rest play Embleton or Mitchell. Would also bring Dougall back in for Virtue. Husband for Thornley.

I've not criticised Critchs subs before believe it or not, but bringing on CJ and Demi was not what we needed I felt at the time. I was hoping at half time that we would get Dougall on and I don't know why Kaikai keeps starting. Embleton would have offered more, albeit in a different part of the pitch, but there's no point having a wide player if he doesn't get involved. Get Garbutt running forward instead and let Embleton help out in midfield and attack. Which was needed.

I guess many on here are fantasy players. I always think twice about Man city players in my team because Pep switches them all the time. A 5 star player is often dropped for the following game. The secret of their success is they don't have a fixed starting 11. We have a decent squad with options all over. I personally would consider permanent rotation of players. It keeps the opposition guessing, gives players a rest and means that the whole squad has plenty of first team experience. I also think it creates a better cohisiveness in the changing room

Not bad but I wouldn't start with Hamilton. I'd start with Mitchell and Ward as the wide men. Also, I would do without any South Korean cars on the bench.

Yes, I'd make some changes:

Thorniley out, Husband in. (Obvious, I hope.)
Kaikai out, Mitchell in. (Kaikai disappeared again. Michell is quicker and more enthusiastic. Deserves a start.)
Virtue out, Embleton in. (Virtue didn't do anything wrong, but I'd like to see what Embleton can do given more time. Ward is the other candidate for replacement but Ward is an experienced winger (which we need in Hamilton's absence), and Virtue isn't.)
