Would you take a left sided appointment?

Karanka was outstanding for a few years, kept teams tight. He knows the championship.

Barnes written off as he had a bad time at Celtic. Part of a successful Liverpool team has his badges.

We have tried the dinosaur route why not try something left sided and different.

Aitor Karanka’s teams are always well organised and hard to beat, that said they are generally dull as ditchwater to watch.

I would far rather have an up and coming manager who knows the best players in league 1 and 2.

That’s where we will be recruiting from.

In order of priority for me:
  • Hoping SS replaces the two Ben's with board members who know what they're doing. (Another investor or 2 would be good news).
  • Hearing what budget the new manager will be given (will SS give him the income from Critchley, Josh & Richard, or has that gone on wages?). Without a decent budget & declared ambition, no manager will succeed.
  • Will SS appoint a much needed new director of football?
  • A new manager (not an old 'has been' or former manager) - who if everything else is in place, will have a good chance of succeeding.
