Are in the process to buy Readings training ground
To be honest, I'd fully support them if they chose to disrupt the game. They might be the most boring, mayonnaise-on-white-bread club in existence, but all football fans deserve a proper owner and control of their own destiny.Horrendous news for Reading and one step closer to them going out of existence. Their owner is reminiscent of Steve Dale at Bury, and once again it looks like the EFL are going to do nothing to help. I wouldn’t be surprised if there is significant disruption from the Reading fans when we play on them on the final day.
Yeah I agree completely, the sustainability of a football club is more important than one game. And if we're drawing at the time and the match is abandoned with us needing three points to get in the playoffs what then?To be honest, I'd fully support them if they chose to disrupt the game. It’ll be tailspin city on hereAnd if we're drawing at the time and the match is abandoned with us needing three points to get in the playoffs what then?
I mean it's an unlikely scenario but I would be conflicted - I really hate the state of football ownership in English football and I desperately want to see it changed. If that meant us missing the playoffs I could accept it with a very heavy heart. Very heavy! And if we're drawing at the time and the match is abandoned with us needing three points to get in the playoffs what then?
They gave it as a draw. When we did it the game was awarded to them wasn’t it?
According to the BBC website. When we did it the game was awarded to them wasn’t it?
I wonder what he will do next month ; he certainly won't have another training ground to sell. How much of the money from this sale is going to go back into the club to pay wages and HMRC must be open to doubt too.Horrendous news for Reading and one step closer to them going out of existence. Reading fans seem to think he will take the money himself into offshore accounts and nothing put in to pay reading fc bills and wages etcI wonder what he will do next month ; he certainly won't have another training ground to sell. It's an unusual case, one of the very few where you could say that there has been bad faith, as opposed to simple incompetence. The EFL are between a rock and a hard place ; trapped by both their past decisions on punishment and the inadequacy of their powers.
I hope the team rally and pick up plenty of points from here on in, personally. It would be nice to see four teams going down entirely on merit, rather than three. We've seen far too much of that nonsense in the Championship in recent years.
Is the Reading TG anywhere near Wycombe?Wycombe really shouldn't be doing this.
Neither us or Huddersfield were going up or down though.According to the BBC website.
"The board took the view that the 0-0 score line that stood at the time of the game's abandonment should be officially recorded as the final result of the match, as it believes that league points should always be earned on the field of play," said a statement.
Yea and look how people act up about Sadler alreadyYeah I agree completely, the sustainability of a football club is more important than one game. Scary to think we were staring down the barrel not long ago
No idea tbh.Is the Reading TG anywhere near Wycombe?
Yeah then nobbers bought wigansDidn’t Wigan snatch Bolton’s training ground in similar circumstances?
It’s just over 20 miles from Wycombe's groundIs the Reading TG anywhere near Wycombe?
According to Readings fans message board the club approached Wycombe with the TG valued around £25mWycombe really shouldn't be doing this.
Then the Nobbers did the same.Didn’t Wigan snatch Bolton’s training ground in similar circumstances?
Yes, agreed. I hadn’t realised that the other clubs that Yongge owned only went out of business after her purchased Reading, so I suppose there wasn’t grounds for the EFL to exclude him.I wonder what he will do next month ; he certainly won't have another training ground to sell. How much of the money from this sale is going to go back into the club to pay wages and HMRC must be open to doubt too.

Just ask yourself if it's in the best long-term interests of Reading FC.According to Readings fans message board the club approached Wycombe with the TG valued around £25m
Not at all.Just ask yourself if it's in the best long-term interests of Reading FC.
Have you seen a picture of it? It's for the first team only so it's actually quite small.Unreal deal for Wycombe, Reading built it for 50m and is one of the best training grounds in the country.
Don’t need to ask myself anything Loco as I’ve absolutely no interest in either Reading or Wycombe l merely stated what was on the Reading fans message board.Just ask yourself if it's in the best long-term interests of Reading FC.
He's a ST holder at that TG.Have you seen a picture of it? It's for the first team only so it's actually quite small.
No doubt you hoped they stood with us in our difficult period.Don’t need to ask myself anything Loco as I’ve absolutely no interest in either Reading or Wycombe l merely stated what was on the Reading fans message board.
Did they?No doubt you hoped they stood with us in our difficult period.
No idea but I was commenting on your aspirations not their actions.Did they?
