Xmas Tipple

My current favourite is the stuff at Wetherspoons in St Annes . Cant even remember its name . And a whisky chaser. Mrs Tom like PINOT .

Coffee with a nip of whiskey the only drink I’ve had so far.
Just doing the dinner, but our turkey was smelling a bit when we unwrapped it, so a bit nervous about it.
If you don’t here from me again it’s been a blast!

Enjoy !
Not even had my obligatory Irish coffee this year. Full on sobriety now it seems 😁

But you guys enjoy all your tipples 🍷🍸🍹🥂🍾🍻🍺🥃

Bottle of 2003 Montbazillac with the venison pate for lunch. Currently having some mulled wine with mince pies. A nice Gewurztraminer chilling to have with the smoked salmon and asparagus, then a 2018 Cotes de Castillon with the roast lamb. Port with the cheese then a Calvados for a digestif, and bed!

WTF? Who do you think you are Marco Pierre White?!!

I've only managed half a bottle of Henry Weston's Dry vintage cider. Too busy after a morning foraging all for the obligatory white truffles to be shaved over the fois gras...................

Did you receive a year's subscription to AA for Christmas ?

Had nowt yet, just about to make a Gin Martini, Plymouth Gin and Dolin Vermouth shaken over ice with a dash of orange bitters and an olive.

Got everyone here tomorrow so making Christmas dinner then, Cockerel again, magic. I've just finished making a Beef Wellington for later with home made Dauphinoise potatoes and some buttered greens and a Port beef sauce.

I bet he's sat on his arse like Jim Royale with everyone running around after him! Visited my mum in her nursing home this morning till lunchtime, back, open pressies and then been preparing this evenings dinner, first drink about to be made. Happy Christmas Mac 👍

Fancy get! 😁

I’m on my 8th poretti. Will hit the brandy later 😏

Currently had about half a glass of Prosecco with the Sunday Christmas dinner. After I’ve parked up for the day in about half an hour. There’s beer Havana Club & Limoncello to attack. 🍺 🍹 🍋 😃

Haha, no Mac, I do all the cooking but the wine is carried over till tomorrow.

This morning I regret having too much to eat and drink - am on my way to the shop for some Gaviscon, Andrews and Anadin!
