you have to hand it to Celtic

McGregor is the only good player in their team right now. Is unfair how many qualifying rounds the Scots have to go through though.

Weird level of support for Rangers too. Couldn’t careless about either of them, nor the Queen or the Pope when it comes to football.

Odd what people try and identify and associate with, always so forced too.
 
Not keen on either of the Glasgow clubs. The rivalry is nasty but worst of all I saw a flag on Twitter the other week with the Rangers and Blackpool badge on it sandwiched between the union flag... Get that in the bin !!!

The Scottish Champions in 2021/22 will automatically qualify for the group stages of the 2022/23 Champions League.

That's because they have the 11th highest coefficient in Europe, that's based on the performances in European competition over the last 5 seasons and not public opinion or viewing figures.

I don't think that's too bad for a nation of about 5 and a half million, I couldn't say for sure but I doubt there are any smaller countries above Scotland.
 
Champions league was supposed to be just that, Champions from the European leagues. Rangers this season have more of a right to be in it than the 2nd to 4th placed clubs. Otherwise, Change the competition name.

I was not trying to suggest that Scotland's clubs are more successful in Europe than England's although I'm not sure they deserve to be treated with disdain as you appear to do.

I look forward to the day when all the broadcasting revenues are shared out equally and Rangers and Celtic will do far better than the vast majority of English clubs.

Not as much as I'm looking forward to sleeping with Kylie Minogue though.

We have long since moved on from the European Cup.

The Champions League is just a different version of the European Super League that everybody got their knickers in a twist over.

Big football clubs wanting as much of the money that big football clubs generate - shock horror !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
