You Tube stopping Ad Blockers

I quite enjoy watching you tube, & going down the You Tube worm hole has taken many hours...

However, I see they are now blocking you if you use an ad blocker, & are forcing you to watch ads, or want to relieve you of about £12 a month to stop it....

There will be some evangelists, who point out its a commercial enterprise & they have to make money, but all that will happen is I stop watching You Tube videos & get a life..

PS anyone got any workarounds yet?? 😂

Don't you get the opportunity to turn off the Ads fairly quickly?
Easily done.

I am no evangelist- but please stop expecting stuff for free that costs money to run!

Simple - watch adverts or pay!

So far clicking x on the first warning seems to get rid of it for now.
 
got ad block plus on my chromebook but starting to get loads of adds getting through today. Anything i can do to get ride of them or do I have to rely on ABP to update their software. Ads are bloody annoying.

I swapped to a different free one as Ad block no longer works\
 
Never understood why so many put ad blockers on this site when they have to pay the bills through ad revenue and I don’t find them overly intrusive. Compare it to the unreadable Gazette who now make you register or you can’t read the articles!
