was thinking about this a few weeks ago, not quite answering your questions but here goes.
Blackburn, Bournemouth,Cardiff, Swansea i think will be the teams contesting the top two and expect all four to finish top 6.
QPR & Reading i think will be up and around the playoffs. will finish in the top ten at least
Barnsley
Fulham
Huddersfield
Luton
Middlesbrough
Nottingham forest
PNE
Stoke
West Brom
all of these teams will be mid table - some with sight on either play-offs and some steering clear of relegation places.
Bristol City
Hull
Millwall
Peterborough
all will finish in the bottom ten, at least one of them to go down
Birmingham, Derby, Sheffield utd all in the bottom six at least two of them relegated.
Barnsley: had a good year but very low goal difference, and didn’t score many might struggle to replicate lowish mid table
Birmingham: club in crisis relagation battle ensues
Blackburn: probably should have been higher might come good next season
Bournemouth: well run club decent team will be there or thereabouts the top 4
Bristol City: rank average will probably be the same next year
Cardiff: maintain momentum could be a contender next season
Coventry: making steady progress wil be looking to improve
Derby: club in crisis if they don’t get a decent start I expect them in a relegation fight
Fulham: will expect to go back up but I expect mid table with a few flirtations at the playoffs and relagation at different points in the season
Huddersfield: didn’t score too many and had a pretty leaky defence cant see much different for next season
Hull: might get found out by better teams in the championship, not convinced they were as good as the league 1 table suggested
Luton: replicating what they did this year would be an achievment
Middlesbrough: another rank average side would expect some occasional flirtations with the play-offs ultimately midtable
Millwall: as middlesbrough but worse
Nottingham forest: they don’t look like a great side but they might turn things around
Peterborough: think they might go straight back down
PNE: finished reasonably strongly in the end but they will be in the lower reaches of the table
QPR: a team that you would expect to be up there, I think will hover around the play-offs
Reading: if they can improve their defence they might have another challenge
Sheffield utd: terrible season last year, for me odds on to go down again
Stoke: another mid table finish
Swansea: missed out this year, will be strong next
West Brom: think they will struggle in the championship, will probably find a bit of form in the second half of the season
Blackpool: could be the dark horses, strong in defence, seem to have found their shooting boots in the last half of last season reasonably settled sqaud, I think pool cound be top 8.
