Your Four for the Play Offs

So who do you think will be in the Championship Play Off places

Forest, Luton, Boro, Sheff Utd for me ... quite underwhelming and if we'd had a better start/Xmas I think we'd have stood a chance.

I go for Huddersfield, Luton, Middlesbrough and Nottingham forest and I completely agree with you saying if we would’ve had a better start or a better Xmas and also if we didn’t have bad refereeing decisions going against us and not conceding last minute goals as well. I think we would have been in with a shout for the play offs, but for me it is about consolidating in the championship, finishing in the top half and also finishing above the nobbers 🍊🍊🍊

Luton, Forest, Sheff Utd & Bpool

Trust me mate, I wish I was as optimistic as you but I’m sorry not this season for me because too many things have gone against us like I said above, we have got a good core in the squad, we have got a good management team and we’ve got good owners and I think if we add some championship quality players for next season then I think we’ll give it a good go but for this season for me, it’s all about consolidation

Better start?
When we won at Bramhall Lane we were above Sheff Utd yet you have them in the play offs 🤷

It's easier to pick lottery numbers than it is to pick play off contenders.
I guarantee that there will be a team gets in that you think, WTF!!!

Can't really see Pool doing it.
It would take a fantastic run of wins to get us there.
Don't forget that all the other contenders are winning games too.

Blackburns wheels have well and truly come off with the injury to Brereton Diaz, who was the sole reason they were doing well in the first place. Don't forget that Mowbray was on borrowed time back in September before they went on a good run.

If I had to pick four that didn't include us, I'd go for Luton, Blades, Forest and either QPR or Huddersfield.

I think we will get 15 points from remaining 9 games.

That will put us on 67 points which unfortunately won’t be enough.

Think Huddersfield will grind out results to finish 2nd.

For that reason I’m going

Bournemouth
Forest
Sheff utd
Luton

Is that the Blackburn who are 9 points ahead of us????
2 games in hand!!!
And got to play them!!!
🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

I’m no saying we’ll make the playoffs, but just as good a chance as Blackburn?????
IMO of course 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡😡🧡
Yes and thats us with 2 games in hand which equally could mean 2 losses & 9 points behind Blackburn 12 of we lose to them

Definitely not as good as a chance as they have the points in the bag unfortunately

We are strong finishers. Showed it last year. Showed it in year previous when we've often stormed the playoffs with a late surge after being miles off it. We can do it. Everyone's gotta believe. Beleive in the manager, and the team, and everyone else behind the scenes that we can do it! We need to win every game and we have a chance, maybe we even have a chance if we don't. Until its impossible we've gotta keep the positivity going! MASSIVE noise at every game from here until its impossible! We have seen crazier things happen at this club!

COME ON THE POOL!

Love the optimism but I think Play Offs hopes for us will be all but ended a week on Saturday.
Forest are playing well with games in hand. They are the team to watch.
I would love to see us beat them along with 2 Lancashire derby victories.

Luton, Forest, Sheffield United and Huddersfield for me.

Correct but they’re sinking like the titanic 🤔🤔
Like I previously said play offs may be out of our reach but there’s definitely fact in my comment?

Another weekend that should sort the wheat from the chaff

  • Luton Town v Millwall
  • Queens Park Rangers v Fulham
  • Stoke City v Sheffield United

Bournemouth, Huddersfield and Middlesbrough all seem to have the easiest fixtures.
