Well that was a disappointing performance. Pool started well but with 3 diminutive wingers playing across the front we always lacked a physical presence against a biggish Oldham side. Pool created opportunities but couldn't find the back of the net and being denied a nailed on penalty didn't help. Josh Nyame went off injured which also didnt help. Second half Pool never really seemed to get going and Oldham deserved their victory. No time for sulking though with crucial back to back games against Accy on Tues (home) and Thurs (away). We might have to call on a couple of the u19s (3 permitted).
