Liverpool fans boo the national anthem

Fair Play to them for not being weak lily livered hooray Henry's. They're standing up for something they belive in when they feel Thatchers government let them down badly, almost to rot in the 80's and with Hillsborough which again they were let down with.

I have Scouse relatives. They all to a man hate the way the city was let down. At least they believe in something.

Yes of course because they're the only City/ town who have had hard times or struggled.
By booing they make it all about them instead of just staying quiet but that's them. Quick to be offensive and even quicker to be offended.

They were probably shafted more than most. At least they don't roll over and take it like most do. Free country to do or say whatever you/they want

They were a city in decline and pulled it together. Liverpool is a thriving city. Can you say that about Blackpool? The town is a dive with massive drug, alcohol and poverty issues

Why don't they (Liverpool) refuse to take part in the Champions League when they've previously won the ENGLISH Premier League. Absolutely miles away from the coronation but smacks of double standards.

Why is it disrespectful? You could just as easily argue it’s disrespectful to hear people singing it. I find it mad how people get so attached to the idea of nationality and believe it’s important. Philosophically it really means absolutely nothing.
 
As an aside….. Man Utd could do far worse than offer silly money to Brentford for Toney. He’s got the lot.

Apart from the billions in soft diplomacy they create for the country and tourism. Then there's the great work the princes trust, duke of Edinburgh award, Dumfries house legacy, climate promotion etc . You'll find that the money they receive doesn't even make a dent in what they create. Just letting you know.

That’s a decent counter argument, but they still don’t sit particularly comfortably with me along with all the rest of the establishment. Hey Ho I’m not going to lose any sleep over it though. I doubt I could do anything to make changes happen apart from voting. Oh & protesting should thing’s really piss me off, this isn’t one of them. As I said earlier today I would welcome a slimming down especially the extended Royal Family.

I have a problem with taking the knee but don’t feel the need to boo it. These people think that the world owes them a living. They love to play the victim and would rather hold their hands out for benefits. They are no better than the dingy divers.

So he is pro the environment, has been organically farming for 40 years and set up the Princess Trust which had benefitted thousands of youngsters. Backs 800 charities in the UK, what exactly is the problem?
 
If the nation had a fair vote on keep and support the Royal family or bin them I am sure it would be a huge landslide to keep them. Would these people against them then accept it or not🤔 I suspect a bit like Nicola Sturgeon who lost 2 fair votes about Scotland they cannot and will keep going on. I accept freedom of speech but show some respect otherwise you come across as spoilt children who cannot accept people don’t want it your way. The royal family do a lot of good for our nation.

He is a bit of a WOKE knob it’s a fact and will never have the respect his Mother had yet this is unacceptable behaviour. He is our King and we must accept him. I think he is probably on the whole OK apart his sticking his nose in political matters.

So Blackpools issues are because people didn't pull together?

Or maybe it's because it's very different to Liverpool, far less populated and completely different issues being a tourist town.

Also it's not the dive you suggest, outside the central area.
