ATG predicted the opening day attendance and average gates dropping to 5k if we don't do well, which includes away fans, match ticket sales.Yep, 7,000 ish. If don’t do well gates will drop to around 5k. Back to the good old league one days.
Yep. He’s a muppetYeah not bad, always said over 6k, hopefully more.
A big few days to go still.
Yet we had this...

Ermmm... told you so...
There’s time to go but that’s dreadful. Its shit to be honest as last season was over 8,000
What it does show is the Club have really to do nothing and people will buy. So from their pov, is it worthwhile trying to flog them with offers, feel good vibes etc only to get maybe another 1500 sold. The answer they've decided is no.There’s time to go but that’s dreadful.
Or looking at the lack of investment so far and the shambles of last season it’s a miracle we’ve sold any.
8,500 i think yes. So really should be looking at 6-6,500. Still time yet.Its shit to be honest as last season was over 8,000
Will be 5006 when you get your hand in your pocket @Phil_bfc deuxIts shit to be honest as last season was over 8,000

Not going to be too far off opening day attendance.Yeah not bad, always said over 6k, hopefully more.

Not going to be too far off opening day attendance.
Bit more than I expected, not going to lie but the reality is that's going from very poor to just poor.
We'll see, opening day should be way more, but the 5k overall attendance as said was very very pessimistic and was never going to be close. Not going to be too far off opening day attendance.

A Tense Grin is like a re-born 62 Years and Counting.......Could you imagine being as negative and pessimistic as these 2?
Bore off and stop fishing for a reaction...

How many have Derby sold ?We should be comparing ourselves to others in this division. How many have Codwood sold?
You bought one Bisons? There’s time to go but that’s dreadful.
Or looking at the lack of investment so far and the shambles of last season it’s a miracle we’ve sold any.
To be honest if the club is counting on a fan like me to have season tickets when I live in a different country then there is something wrongIt’s not great.
Probably due to people like yourself waiting for something before committing to supporting your team
Grimsby have also sold 5k, albeit in League Two.We should be comparing ourselves to others in this division. How many have Codwood sold?
Talk about aiming high .We should be comparing ourselves to others in this division. How many have Codwood sold?
It was over 8k at end of the early bird, I think it went a bit more after that and then with half ST later in the season.8,500 i think yes. So really should be looking at 6-6,500. Still time yet.
Someone who had one last season and hasn’t yet renewed, I think that’s the point behind my post.To be honest if the club is counting on a fan like me to have season tickets when I live in a different country then there is something wrong
The club should be targeting the people of BlackpoolSomeone who had one last season and hasn’t yet renewed, I think that’s the point behind my post.
You’re complaining that season ticket sales are poor in comparison to last season yet you’re part of the reason they are poorer, having not yet renewed.
Yeah that should help. The Norburn factor may kick in
No point looking at history as we're making it, we've always been limited in the past. The last time we were relegated from the Championship to League One we averaged 7052.
That was historically, for us, the highest average attendance for that level of all time (counting full seasons only)
19/20 was stopped by Covid. We were averaging 8k but swelled by homecoming crowds?)
So it’s not bad at all IMO; payday tomorrow and sales will continue for 2 more months as a renewal is only £20 or so more even after early bird.
I would say we are still on track for an 8k average - the best we will ever have done at this level….
