From the very start of all this I think there were 3 things that were quite relevant to Andrew's 'guilt or innocence'.
Firstly, he said he had never met the teenager, and then a photo emerged of him looking relaxed with her and Maxwell in one of Maxwell's properties. Allegedly, the FBI have assessed that photo as genuine. He also said he had never had any other sexual relationships with young females.
Secondly, it is known Andrew made multiple visits to Epstein in his various properties including New York, the Virgin Islands and London. A subsequent photo emerged of him walking and talking with Epstein just days after the latter had been released from prison on earlier charges, and whose sentence was shorter due to a plea bargain. Do you really believe that he visited Epstein in his New York property for a few days just to 'break off their relstionship'? Another photo emerged from the same vist showing Andrew letting young females out of Epstein's property. Perhaps he had to break off his relationship with them as well?!!!
Thirdly, knowing that his Royal junket life was under threat and he was under pressure from both the Family and the media on the reputational issues, he did the BBC interview with Emily Maitlis. More holes in that than in a string vest. Not only were his answers incredulous the manner of them indicated a lack of truth, a desperate attempt to defend himself and complete disregard for, and empathy with or even mention of the victims. If I had been on a jury, I wouldn't have believed him.
Sadly, whilst more information is likely to emerge I dont believe Andrew will ever give evidence in a court. It is, and will remain, a massive stain on both Andrew and the Royal Family.
