Where have you lived in Blackpool ?

Always avoided South Shore and Central Blackpool because they are really rough.

North Shore
Bispham
Thornton
Borth Shore again
Norbreck-on-Sea

Also lived away from the coast and really hated it. The salt air gets in your veins you see.
 
School Road, Thornton - now in Northwich via Southport, Sheffield, Doncaster Barnsley and Runcorn

Apart from a couple of areas, South Shore was quite genteel in my youth Mac. Different now though I grant thee!
 
Filey Road St. Annes for many years, then Bryan Road Blackpool - handy for the No 3, now Alder close Thornton.
 
Wanstead Crescent as a kid, Cunliffe Rd, Wordsworth Ave now St Annes Rd. Must have moved a good 5 miles.

Ska. Was there a long lost bookies across the road from you on St Heliers or was that on Savillle Rd. Had to often wait outside for my old man on the way to the ground but 40 or more years ago and the memory fades.

Myself, born and bred in Revoe.
 
Early years in Kenilworth Gardens then moved to a house in Kirkham Avenue on the corner of Park Road. My neighbours opposite were an estate agent and his wife. They were called Owen and Vicky.. I wonder what became of them?

We played footie for years on the old grass tennis courts on that corner until the land was built on with new houses. That would be in the late sixties.

Johnny, our old house looks like it needs a bit of tlc now. If I have got your house correct it was Harry and Jenny Parr when we were there. I left Kirkham Ave in 1980 but my family lived there for a few years after. Handy for going to Bloomfield Road!

My Dad grew up on Kirkham Ave ( No 36} in the 1930s and his parents and sister lived there until 1975. As a child I used to get dropped off there when my parents went to the match.

3 doors down, excellent. It was a cosy little street when I was there, lots of elderly folk.
There was a nice Irish lady at number 1. 1991 to 1998 I was there.
I wonder if Betty at number 8 was there when you were 🤔

I can't remember Betty, but the 'nice Irish lady' at number 1 was my mum, who passed away in 1993. Or you might mean my sister, who is still there. Thanks for that memory. 🙏
