Along side this thereโs also the Tesco present appeal. My wife and kids have been taking a couple of envelopes off the tree for the last few years now and buying specific gifts that deprived kids have asked for........ Christmas really should be the time for giving if you can afford itI loved the fact that so much had been raised.
If Simon Sandler matches it, that is ยฃ72k or thereabouts.
800 kids with nothing (I'm not sure how true that is) works out at ยฃ90/kid which is 2 or 3 pretty substantive presents. That's a lovely thing to be able to do.
Over here, we've got two charities which have worked with the shopping centre to create something called an online 'giving tree'.
They have received 172,000 presents from all over the place.
Rightly, the vast majority of those have left town and been shared all over the North East and beyond.
That's 172,000 acts of kindness.
Don't tell me this country is broken. Time and again people so the right thing and it's fantastic!!!
we also pick a name from the Christmas tree at Tesco and get a present for them, its times like these when you look at others to make sure they can enjoy a little happiness in tough times.Along side this thereโs also the Tesco present appeal. Gary Madine's number is 14, he must have remained in contact with some of his ex Cardiff team matesSaw Mendez-Laing contributed ? - I imagine that to be Nathaniel Mendez-Laing? who had his contract terminated at Cardiff due to something supposedly very serious ? - heard a few rumours of selling drugs ! - anyone know the real story ?
Also anyone know what GM14 could stand for ?
Either way thanks for the donation
I wonder if the Real Oyston family would like to put a plaster on the gaping wound they left and actually make a real donation???? They have taken plenty out of the town over the years. Time to put some back - although I doubt itI love how our fans will take any opportunity to take this piss

ยฃ62 worth of donations for the sake of cracking jokes. Brilliant!
I believe the ยฃ20 from George Oyston after the initial ยฃ5 with the minimum wage joke might actually have been him, as people were tweeting screenshots of the joke and he was responding and then that ยฃ20 appeared.I wonder if the Real Oyston family would like to put a plaster on the gaping wound they left and actually make a real donation???? They'd probably only do that if a plaque was put up to commemorate it - like the one near the hotel entrance noting Morticia's participation in a remembrance event.I wonder if the Real Oyston family would like to put a plaster on the gaping wound they left and actually make a real donation????
Loved it.I love how our fans will take any opportunity to take this piss

Tips to date paid in, assuming the club do this next year i will put what i get from now on to one side and pay them in next year. I'll be honest i am keeping the bottles of wine and boxes of chocolates for myself!!I'll donate my Christmas tips, so if you live in Lytham tip your postie and you might be contributing to a good cause!

Amazon my friend. They'll even gift wrap it for you too. This may sound like a stupid question and in no way meant to be negative but where are they going to get all those toys from and who's going to wrap and distribute them? I've been out of Blackpool so long I can't remember what toy shops are left? I used to love Bateson's on Abingdon St but that's been long gone. Santa and his army of little elves are going to be extra busy!
A shame if it is all from Amazon it would be preferable to support local businesses especially given the circumstances this year.Amazon my friend. They'll even gift wrap it for you too.
TBH, I'm unsure if there are any local toy shops left in Blackpool. Not been in the centre for ages!A shame if it is all from Amazon it would be preferable to support local businesses especially given the circumstances this year.
Come on 17-0 nil boomI'll donate ยฃ10 per goal that Blackpool score against Oxford on Saturday.
Plus I'll chip in an extra tenner if one of our lads bags a hat-trick.

I agree. But an ยฃ11 million donation would be a step in the right direction.I believe the ยฃ20 from George Oyston after the initial ยฃ5 with the minimum wage joke might actually have been him, as people were tweeting screenshots of the joke and he was responding and then that ยฃ20 appeared.
Ultimately I don't think any amount of money could heal what they did. I'm glad they're nothing more than the butt of our jokes now.
It certainly wouldn't hurt!I agree. But an ยฃ11 million donation would be a step in the right direction.
I would also volunteer to wrap for them too but being in tier three donโt think weโre allowed toDoes anyone know if you can volunteer to help wrap the presents? I'd happily go down and spend a few hours helping to wrap them.
Typical 0-0 draw. I was going to make another donation but I'm going to up the ante and pledge ยฃ20 per goal scored by Pool v Hull on Tuesday night.Come on 17-0 nil boom
