The sneering BBC

I'm not a leftie far from it and found it amusing . What he was getting at was that some other Ministers they interview have larger flags.

I’m not offended in the slightest, Just pointing out a fact that the BBC seem to be constantly sneering. It’s time they were binned off and left for the Liberal elites to fawn over each other.

They’re upset even more now because it’s been announced they’re going to be moving up north with a lot of programmes. Wonder which employees will refuse?

Do you have a six foot Union Jack in your front room? If not, you're a communist who wants to sell the country out.
nope, that's Cat. 😆 I must admit I laughed at your thumbs up to Barnums post. The hypocrisy and double standards is there for all to see as explained by Wizzerboys post immediately following.

You don't get to decide how other brits get to express their pride. Displaying the national traits of humility, stoicism and tolerance are the method I choose.

Simply making an observation on a couple of posts by EPM46 and Barnum. I think you'll find I'm entitled to express my opinion.

It wasn't a pop at the symbolism of the Union flag. It was an observation of Conservative Comms instructing their people to fly the flag and have a picture of QE2 on show to remind everyone watching that we are British.
Even Jenrick smiled cos he got the joke. Lots of faux outrage, faux patriotism, populist nationalism and a prime example of cancel culture on show in this thread..
Some of you are being very sensitive but if all you need is to wave a bit of coloured cloth to make you feel Uber British, go for it.
Is this the new Band A I'm a better fan argument?

Why the fuck would I be ?
Why would you be what?

(You wrote 'ok with this though', I quoted your photos of famous flag people and followed your example, maybe I should have deleted your irrelevant text but I thought you'd remember what you wrote minutes ago, I swear it's getting harder and harder to post on this site these days when you have to explain everything)

Foolweary speaks well for me, thanks. Please accept that you do not get to judge or question the patriotism of other UK citizens, you are just a pleb like the rest of us.
What! Of course I get to question, I'm entitled to question and judge the patriotism of some-one who describes our national flag as a rag? People question each other all the time and have done so for as long as we've been on this planet. You disagree, well that's your choice.

No, you get to voice your opinion, like the rest of us. You do not get to judge, you have no authority, no power, you are, as I said above, a pleb like the rest of us.

split hairs if you want. 👍 It's a fact though that people judge others whether it carries any authority or not.
