Good to get in at half time as after we scored the second we were under the cosh a bit.

I’d like to think another goal for us finishes the job but if Oxford score first in the second half I can see us having a wobble. Come on the Pool!
 
Some classy stuff, but not much in the way of possession in the last 15 minutes. Keep the ball, play football and there are more goals to be had in the second half.
 
As they Americans might say ‘we won the first quarter’. Long way to go - they look way worse at the back than they do going forward and we should keep knocking on that door!
 
We look solid at the back and Oxford's defence is frightened every time Simms gets the ball. We need to be stronger in midfield though.

Oxford look dangerous down their left. I'd like to see Stewart, Anderson, Dougall and Embleton upping their involvement in the second half.

A goal for us and it's over, one for them and it's wide open.
 
Has Maxwell made a safe? We are solid enough to make this a non event of a second half and take a two goal lead home with us.

I think we've bullied them out of it so far. Yes the perfect touch isn't quite there but it's a playoff first leg FFS.
