Its not a bad crowd, Stoke only got under 5k other night.

Tbf Fleetwood didn't take many but not loads of Stoke fans.

However many there were, the atmosphere was brilliant.

There were probably 2000 ' Boro fans and around 4500 Blackpool fans with the West stand sections that ere open pretty full along with the North stand. The East side of the North stand was jam packed and they were brilliantly noisy!!!
 
There seemed more than that in the ground, but I think it's a decent turnout compared to other teams at this stage. Great turnout from Boro.

1300 boro. Ticket scanners not working in some gates. Hence exit ones opened.
 
Seems there was a problem with the ticket scanners reading print at home tickets so they opened the exit gates and let everyone in. Still missed first 5 minutes and there were dozens behind us.
 
For the first round of the league cup, I personally thought it was a good turn out and very good effort from Boro.

There is always problems with the ticket scanners the print as home system doesn't work they either need to upgrade the system or go back to only buying your ticket from the club.
I know you need better quality of paper for it to work but who on earth is going to that when their normal stuff gets them in everywhere.

We aspire to be as impressive as PNE.
We keep practicing play off finals but let ourselves down by winning them and getting promoted.
We even by mistake ended up in Premier League and did the double over Liverpool.

One day we can be as good as the Nobbers with your massive support and recent successes……

Maths clearly isn't your strong point, only taking 500 to Mansfield and giving away 1000s of free tickets every home game, I'd say you are the ones that are an embarrassment. Or is it all Uncle Trev's fault for wasting millions on a dead duck of a club?

According to the PNE website, the total attendance for your game in the same trophy this week at Mansfield was 2,526, with less than 500 Preston fans making the trip... and you call our support embarrassing? Delusions of grandeur indeed.

I think you need to up your posting game son, I know you're only a kid but we've had much much better PKE types on here over the years.

I'd throttle back on the 'emojis' a little as it gives your age away for a start, probably about 14? You also need to stop being so angry, we know Preston is a terrible, terrible place to have to come from, a redundant forgotten old mill town happily bypassed by the hundreds of thousands coming to the Fylde, but you can see beauty in all things, I believe your bus station is sort of famous for example, maybe have a walk through the many council estates surrounding the town centre or down to the dock area where I believe there's a Home Bargains and Morrisons? Does Mark Lawrenson's childhood home have a blue plaque yet? You could visit that and see where Preston's most famous son grew up, not that he lives in the town anymore obviously.

Also, 'up the whites' makes you sound a little bit like KKK, not sure if you noticed that?

I certainly do. Was god-smacked when I arrived, (7.25ish) to see massive queues and turnstiles closed. Someone should have twigged the problem. Two of my pals only gained entry almost 10 mins after KO.
2.5k from Boro, 2k in N and 2k+ in West. Much more than quoted figure.

their half of the east only holds 2.5k so you're a bit off with that as it wasn't anhwhere near full.

Decent point The problem also extended to refreshments with huge queues and no relief from the closed bottle bars

Less than that, the east only holds 4576. Well it was reduced due to persistent standing.

Theres 4 full blocks on the north side and 3 and a bit over half on the south side.

So that south side holds 2199, very easy to count on planner just number of seats across x seats back, plus any extras.

It certainly wasn't full and its always hard to tell as people block view of seats making a stand pretty full seem full.

Was a great turnout though from boro.

Why are people getting so cut up about crowds , who cares? What matters is on the pitch 👍🏻 As it stands Blackpool are playing fantastic👍🏻 Middlesbrough appear not too good and preston are fuckin dump and will be lucky to get 30 league points🤣🤣
 
Only 70,000 Pool went to Barnet less than 50 per cent of Blackpool's population. Absolutely shocking that so many will never be able to tell their grandkids about the day they witnessed 7 goals going into the Pool net.⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️
