A very acceptable result but we could have been more positive in our approach.
maybe if we had they would of mullered us, with hindsight you could always do things better, but doesn't mean that we set up wrong.Former Prem team. Good set up. Excellent at home. I'm proud of what we did today.
Now, in true AVFTT style....could we have been set up better from the start?
*Hope I don't need a tin hat*.
We should of beaten QPR, swings and roundabouts. They shouldve had a penalty
It is a great point FULL STOP. We are 3 points off the play offs with a team signed for a few million playing against teams worth 10s and 100s of millions. Just be happy 62 all is well in Tangerine Land.A very acceptable result but we could have been more positive in our approach.
my thoughts exactly, i was happy to see 5 mins,Swansea not winning, don't care, we can win this.
I wonder if Critchley’s rant after QPR had any effect on the refereeing, we certainly had our share of decisions today.Maybe ref decisions and results do level themselves out?
Of course, you're right.maybe if we had they would of mullered us, with hindsight you could always do things better, but doesn't mean that we set up wrong.
A point at Swansea with a 100 million squad is a good point. We set up right.
Finesse innit
I was on radio Lancs Camberwell. If you were a neutral, would you have said 'fair shout' to any of their penalty appeals?I thought the Swans were reenacting Swan Lake as they ut in a lot of dramatic dives - glad to see the ref having none of it
Whilst it wasn’t exciting we were pushing for a point as the match went on
As soon as we scored Critch was yelling at the defenders to push forward
A long trip but a fair point
I really like Sterling but I agree with your comments, it has to be one or the other and I agree Gabriel as he is outstanding and he's our player
I doubt it.I wonder if Critchley’s rant after QPR had any effect on the refereeing, we certainly had our share of decisions today.
Let's not make Connolly the next player we decide is rubbish.I really like Sterling but I agree with your comments, it has to be one or the other and I agree Gabriel as he is outstanding and he's our player. Maybe a completely different position for Sterling? The player who I would be happy to not be in the team is Connolly, I thought he was really poor today.
Critch was full of praise for Connolly in his post match presser.I really like Sterling but I agree with your comments, it has to be one or the other and I agree Gabriel as he is outstanding and he's our player. Maybe a completely different position for Sterling? The player who I would be happy to not be in the team is Connolly, I thought he was really poor today.
Hahaha ha with hindsight mindNeed to get Madine on for Anderson, play 4 at the back with Gabriel or Sterling out wide. We can't get it into their box.
Yep I bet their squad costva darn site more than our's. A point against QPR, point here. Not many teams doing that. Look at Swanseas goals and points for last few home games. Only Blackpool have disrupted that. Great tactical point away from home.. Yet againVery decent Swansea side.....think it finished very equal considering the money Swansea have in players
I think lots would have. If at Bloomers we would no doubt about it. We did the previous gameI was on radio Lancs Camberwell. If you were a neutral, would you have said 'fair shout' to any of their penalty appeals?
Yep a few squad changes. As always they pretty much slot in like they've always been there. Two decent teams tactically cancelled each other out. Point each. Job done after that international break I'd sayBeen down the road to watch West Didsbury & Chorlton today so I only know the score and the stats from the Pool game, but I'm pretty chuffed with that. A very good point and sounds like we held up against a strong side in great form at home. Without Kenny in midfield - having to use connolly there affects the balance surely - and without Uncle Dick. And Lavery got minutes, Sterling back, and we might see Iceman soon. Looking forward to the Baggies game now.
It feels a bit silly to say this or tempting fate, but it has the feels of one of those “the force is with us seasons” that just keeps getting better and betterBlackpool became only the second visiting team who had scored a league goal on this ground since August
I look where we are in the league (I genuinely thought we would find it harder than we are) and think this team/squad can only get better. Sneak into the play offs and then well we know what happens generally after that. UTMPIt feels a bit silly to say this or tempting fate, but it has the feels of one of those “the force is with us seasons” that just keeps getting better and better
Otherwise known as a Critch season. It feels a bit silly to say this or tempting fate, but it has the feels of one of those “the force is with us seasons” that just keeps getting better and better
Doubt we could have moaned about the 3rd one - Husband did seem to connect ... but they'd been such divers that I think the ref thought they were calling 'Wolf' again - he was right ... c'mon Pool - success becomes a habit.I was on radio Lancs Camberwell. If you were a neutral, would you have said 'fair shout' to any of their penalty appeals?
He's not Alex Ferguson. Yet.I wonder if Critchley’s rant after QPR had any effect on the refereeing, we certainly had our share of decisions today.
He’s a miserable bastard. It is a great point FULL STOP. We are 3 points off the play offs with a team signed for a few million playing against teams worth 10s and 100s of millions. Just be happy 62 all is well in Tangerine Land.
OkA good point but subs should have been made earlier
Stonewall ,certain penaltyagain another blatant dive
Don’t know, 5 minutes added time, he’s getting there. He's not Alex Ferguson. Yet.
Just couldn’t do that on match day or at least listen to live commentary on my iPhone.Been down the road to watch West Didsbury & Chorlton today so I only know the score and the stats from the Pool game, but I'm pretty chuffed with that.
Their player made too much of it though - like he'd been shot, ref was sick of it. I'm with the ref.Just watched it on Quest and their final penalty claim when Husband clearly trod on their player`s foot as said above was a stone cold penalty but after the QPR fiasco we were certainly due one.
How some on here could claim it was a dive just shows how some, but not all on here watch through their tangerine specs and are totally unreliable and biased but on a fans website I suppose that`s inevitable.
