He’s making total sense to me. If he spoke in less layman or human terms he would be called a spiff out of touch with reality. What an embarrassment this spluttering idiot is!
Does he not know how to speak in public ?

His points are being backed up by the scientific and medical experts attending the brief and advising the government.
Surely the content and ability to comprehend that is more important than anybody’s opinion of his delivery right now, especially when you factor in the fact he has to answer questions that he has already answered just so some media journalists gets the chance to raise their profile.
I think that’s a problem related to Scotland and Wales choosing to go their separate ways, and not a lack of clarity from our government. To be fair to him, I think there's a lot more clarity than yesterday. The whole one on one thing will be tricky to enforce though.
Different rules for different countries on one island doesn't help. If you live in Chester you can drive to the prom on the Wirral but not go to the North Wales coast.
I’m commenting on this op and tonight’s brief. Start another thread if you want a different debate.Did he make total sense today when he said that COVID could be transmitted in the water supply of a town?
Totally agree Lala unfortunately some people need it spelling out in Janet and John book style! Oh shit that’s showing my age! He’s making total sense to me. If he spoke in less layman or human terms he would be called a spiff out of touch with reality.

Agree again Lala, as l said on another thread the devolved Nations are playing the 'you stitched us up over Brexit card'I think that’s a problem related to Scotland and Wales choosing to go their separate ways, and not a lack of clarity from our government.
Exactly. But some people want spoon feeding and will look for any opportunity to dissect and criticise. It's all pretty clear and it's about using common sense and a bit of self discipline. Here are the guidelines in simplified terms for anyone who's interested. Worth a read and pretty clear -It’s just common sense thinking. Not rocket science.

We'll trust the common sense of the British public. In other words if this all goes tits up it's your fault and not mine. What an embarrassment this spluttering idiot is!

He's a blustering playactor and comprehensively outclassed by someone with a bit of intelligence about them.He was annihilated again in PMQ again today. Starmer gave him a list of very specific questions to which he just spoke many many words for a very long time after which no questions were answered.
I saw that. Some questions didn’t warrant or have a precise answer to though. You have to separate the wheat from the chaff with regards the quality of questions and realistic expectation of answers, as we all will do.He was annihilated again in PMQ again today. With respect, Lala, you are only seeing Wales and Scotland from a London media viewpoint. What is much clearer up here is that, whilst the North of England was behind London, but has now caught up going down(does that even make sense??), we are further behind, with our R estimated at 0.7 to 0.9. The SNP Government is finally only managing for Scotland, rather than the Independence rubbish. They shut schools quicker, shut building sites and generally were very clear. They were totally cut out of the loop yesterday. I have said often enough I want to be back at work as soon as possible, the body responsible for my health up here is not the UK Government, it is the Scottish Government.I think that’s a problem related to Scotland and Wales choosing to go their separate ways, and not a lack of clarity from our government.
Don't think it's gamesmanship. They prefer to wait longer before lifting the stay at home instruction.Agree again Lala, as l said on another thread the devolved Nations are playing the 'you stitched us up over Brexit card'
I totally get that Mossy and their right to go it alone. But that doesn’t mean there is a lack of clarity in what we in England are being advised. We know we can’t travel to Scotland, and we should respect that. But that clarity is there I think. With respect, Lala, you are only seeing Wales and Scotland from a London media viewpoint. He knows he's a toff and he knows he is trying his best to be man-of-the-people when he does these briefings. However, it's important that he speaks sense and usefully when addressing the Nation. Of course there will be people who will say he speaks well, and he does. But, it has to make sense and it has to be useful. He’s making total sense to me. If he spoke in less layman or human terms he would be called a spiff out of touch with reality.

Sturgeon knows the English tax payer will bail her out, expect to be back a work no time soon! With respect, Lala, you are only seeing Wales and Scotland from a London media viewpoint. Strange that it's always remainers who lead the charge against the PM. As one of the papers said today, Boris Johnson could cure coronavirus, cancer, world famine and end wars overnight and he’d still be loathed by those who blame him for Brexit.
No, come on that's a presumption too far.Agree again Lala, as l said on another thread the devolved Nations are playing the 'you stitched us up over Brexit card'
Accepted that we have left Europe but doesn't change the fact he's a fuckwit one jot.Macseasider said:

Breaking news........MP doesn't actually answer a question! He was annihilated again in PMQ again today. Starmer gave him a list of very specific questions to which he just spoke many many words for a very long time after which no questions were answered.
Dirty commie ragFrom the Torygraph
"
Keir Starmer took Boris Johnson apart like a Duplo train set
At PMQs, the new Labour leader asked a series of calmly factual questions – and the Prime Minister visibly struggled
That's the real putrid press.Dirty commie rag
Grandad Magic and his nationalised railways, guaranteed income for all, massive investment in the NHS etc.On good authority
I would expect Starmer to get the better of Johnson, him being a former prosecution barrister. But let's wait and see what his policies are. And let's see how he proposes to dig Labour out of this massive hole which Grandad Magic and his lunatic followers dug themselves in. Let's see how he can bring in moderate policies whilst Momentum and the hard left are still hovering in the background.
I remember quite a few on here getting all giddy about Boris reopening Blackpool Airport and the Poulton to Fleetwood rail line too.Grandad Magic and his nationalised railways, guaranteed income for all, massive investment in the NHS etc.
Take your head out of the PMs arse and you'll see these are now claimed as Tory great successes, all without reference to how it will be funded.
Labour's policies were vilified but are now seen as the panacea to the crisis.
Labour's policies were roundly rejected by the British people. Not just by a small margin but by a huge margin.Grandad Magic and his nationalised railways, guaranteed income for all, massive investment in the NHS etc.
