That's probably it for me now

That's the spirit mate. I'm a current Blackpool player, I think I'll put my feet up too, and I'll tell the rest of the squad at training tomorrow to do the same. I suspect if we did that you'd have an opinion on it and it wouldn't be favourable. Cheers for your effort for 0.60 of...

Teams with the most fickle fans

Arsenal. Up in arms as soon as they didn't qualify for the Champions League for the first time in 20yrs. Been at it moaning every season since. Gone a bit quiet recently now there 4th in the League under a Manager they wanted out.

    Kraftwerk - Das Model.

Seen them twice in the last seven or eight years, once outside at a festival and once in doors in a theatre, both times in 3D and both time brilliant. Like has been said, hard to say whats live and what's recorded but so what. An iconic group I never thought I'd ever see.

FA Cup v Hartlepool ground trial

Why would the fan(s) have a go at Billy Ayre less than ten games into a season where we won Promotion only a few months earlier at Wembley. Andy Saville may well have scored a dodgy penalty in October 1992 and it may well have rained but I fully agree with Potts Must Go. September 1993. We...

    Oyston’s Doorman .. Why ?

Still makes me chuckle to this day, you walking into the Swift Hound in a River Island suit 🤣

Managers/chairman's approach that rejected Blackpool job

I've often wondered if Jimmy Armfield was ever considered a few times in the 70s, especially the late 70s when after Alan Brown left we went through a few managers . He left Leeds in 1978, so the timing would have fitted.

    OLD PICTURES OF BLACKPOOL FC

Is it Alan Wright, or Simon Rooney ? PS. Have you got anymore pics of the Middlesboro game, a lively day in Q Block that one.

    OLD PICTURES OF BLACKPOOL FC

Jesus Christ, that's an extremely rare shot of Tony Diamond almost inside the six yard box. I surprised any evidence of that actually exists !!

    Keogh the Crab

What an absolutely garbage opening post. The guy was hung drawn and quartered for running out with ball and giving it away a couple of games ago, now this poster isn't happy with sideways passes! Keogh defended brilliantly for Ireland many times against massive Eastern European units, that's...

Blackpool v Fulham November 1976 Lookback

No, it was segregated. Stick Blackpool Fulham 1976 into Youtube, there's a 3 minute clip good quality from Match Of The Day or a 9 minute clip that's a bit flakey. Well worth a look.

Blackpool v Fulham November 1976 Lookback

Agreed. Check out the MOTD footage on YouTube, you can see someone waiving a crash helmet in the air in celebration in the South. Top commentary by Barry Davies as the camera pans to The Kop "and the crowd at the popular end go wild" I was in the West Stand that day as a nipper. Remember...
