If he’s fit and in the team then definitelyCan I ask that you stand up at the front of the North stand and belt this song out as loudly as you can pre-match just so people get the gist of it.....

We'll see...Think he is above dev squad standard
You including Connolly? We just don't know, file under one for the future I think but certainly not a player who is going to go straight into the team and improve what we have.
Boring football? Have you actually seen us play?I’ve never liked him or his boring football and never will. Some people you just don’t like, for me that’s him.
I have watched Critchley’s football so long I have started walking around backwards.Boring football? Have you actually seen us play?
Their utterly clueless.Boring football? Have you actually seen us play?
Remember what Leeds fans said about Crainey...Rangers thought that Charlie wasn't good enough for them. United though that Pogba and Zaha weren't good enough. Clubs get things wrong, sometimes players need regular first team football to really push on. I'm not saying this lad will be a prem player in the future, but I'm certainly not gonna write off a lad before he's even kicked a ball for us.
I really like these sort of signings.
When you get a player from the lower league's, you do wonder how many levels above you can get them to play at.
With players who've come from top prem academies, you might get a player with a better football upbringing and a higher ceiling. Not always obviously, but they aren't at top academies for nothing.
Southampton is a prem academy or had been for most of his time and a well known producer of top talent too.
Working under Critch and in a positive environment, this is the sort of signing we want to develop and that fits the model.
Plus, the main indicator I go off is what word is used to describe the signing on the club website article.
The club sometimes say pleased but...
Blackpool Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Ryan Finnigan from Southampton for an undisclosed fee.
That is all the analysis you need...
We can forgive the odd error, but in general it's a solid systemHopefully not, because...
Blackpool Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Tashan Oakley-Boothe on a two-year contract, with an option for a further 12 months.
Blackpool Football Club can announce Tashan Oakley-Boothe's contract has been terminated by mutual consent, allowing him to pursue an opportunity elsewhere.
attacking my credentials for not ever being to a match is hilariously misguided and ignorant.I'm fine with that
But when we have a bloke who lives thousands of miles away on another continent who hasn't even seen an English professional football match live telling us what a player he will be forgive me for being a bit cynical
Blackpool Football Club is delighted to announce the arrival of Jensen Weir on a season-long loan from Brighton and Hove Albion. We can forgive the odd error, but in general it's a solid system
He’s come through Southamptons youth academy since age 9 apparently so should be very rounded. Looking forward to seeing him playNot much to go on with this lad. Wouldn't seem ready to go straight into the first eleven. Underwhelmed.
Your opinion is valued on hereattacking my credentials for not ever being to a match is hilariously misguided and ignorant.
There’s this new invention (not sure if you’ve heard of it) called “The Internet”, that allows people from thousands of miles away to see the exact same you see while at a match. I have the internet so I am able to watch as many matches as I want and I see the same game you do, funny world!
Jog on!
Exactly, there's been loads of players that have left clubs because they wernt good enough and then gone on to be excellent. Sometimes a club not think a player is good enough gives them an extra edge to prove them wrong.Remember what Leeds fans said about Crainey...
When is first team ready getting announced?Another to come in first team ready, no point in bringing in two first team midfielders as who out of Dembele Morgan and Norburn would get dropped? No doubt when fit this lad could do a job before the end of the season should we need.
It’s when you start walking sideways when you have to be concerned.I have watched Critchley’s football so long I have started walking around backwards.
Well said. I probably get a better view of most games than Phil, from my armchair in Murcia.attacking my credentials for not ever being to a match is hilariously misguided and ignorant.

Oh yes - the old Crainey 'chestnut' that proves everything..Remember what Leeds fans said about Crainey...
I think you're taking this a little too seriously, it was tongue in cheek, but tbf he was a highly rated talent, not a guarantee of success.Blackpool Football Club is delighted to announce the arrival of Jensen Weir on a season-long loan from Brighton and Hove Albion.
The Club can confirm Jensen Weir has been recalled by Brighton & Hove Albion.
Wouldn't read too much in to what the club puts out when a player signs. It's once they start playing and Critchley tries to shoehorn them into a role they don't know or won't pick them as they're not CJ Hamilton and things like that.
Yep, some opposition fans say similar about us when having owner debates.Oh yes - the old Crainey 'chestnut' that proves everything..
Who is utterly clueless?Their utterly clueless.
Modern possession based football for some is boring, but every team is doing it at different levels.
It's Third division football what does anyone expect Man City they need to watch the opposition for a change and think are they more or less boring than us.
Today fingers crossed with a good wind, Byers I would think. When is first team ready getting announced?
Good signing if so (according to reports)Today fingers crossed with a good wind, Byers I would think.
Met him in the Corner Flag last night seems a decent young guy. He’s come through Southamptons youth academy since age 9 apparently so should be very rounded. Looking forward to seeing him play
Watching a match live is completely different you ** idiot
Explains a lot.It is for me, at my age now if I’m in an away nd I can only see one half of the pitch properly! If I was back n Blackpool I’d have to consider a seat in the West on the halfway line! How has that happened?
Absolutely, he's far too old nowSave your breath mate
If Critch signed Messi he would be no good to some.
Try watching a few games and you do not have to be Einstein figure it out.So who are his favourites and worst performing players?
Southampton let him go because they are running close on the fair play calculator and need to ship a few outThat’s why Southampton let him go. Because it makes sense to them to let go of a kid they know better than anyone else and you say has a bright future. He also does nothing for us at this point as he’s injured.
Does Virtue not put the foot in?I don’t have a problem with this signing for the future, especially now TOB has gone. So we’ve upgraded there, great.
I think we are light in terms of a defensive midfielder. KD was playing well and we don’t really have anyone who can put their foot in. The one we have just signed is injured, even if he is that type of player.
Not exactly what you want when we’re chasing promotion.
I have been bored shitless at quite a few games wiz tbh.Boring football? Have you actually seen us play?
Thick comment. It's got development squad all over this one.
He certainly doesn't deserve a league start ahead of Morgan. Under the radar type of player but for me he never does enough to make you think he should be starting.Does Virtue not put the foot in?
As the match against Bolton progressed he looked stronger, he deserves league starts unless he is another we are selling
Hopefully that will bring him more up to speed, first half he was evidently not match fit but got better as you say as the game wore onDoes Virtue not put the foot in?

Why and what the fudge do you know about it?Thick comment.
Yes ,but Yates and Bowler brought in good money and 1 or 2 others have gone with undisclosed fees. We will never get massive money for any of our players because of the division they are in . Yet if you forget the money and look at the improvement over the last couple of years [even with poor managers ] Dougle ,CJ , Yates , Bowler, Husband , Gabriel , Ecky . Most pool fans would say that they are all playing better and they cost us little. A bit like Finnigan. He's had high hopes for a number of relatively young midfielders he's brought in.
Little in the way of success though!
I'm hearing Oakley-Boothe has gone.
I have no idea why. I've really enjoyed the last month in particular. Tuesday night was a great game.I have been bored shitless at quite a few games wiz tbh.
I don't think he'll be dev squad tbh. He's already done well at Crewe on loan in the top half of L2. We've paid a fee for him. He'll train with the first team when he's fit enough to start training, but won't break into the XI this season, methinks. Why and what the fudge do you know about it?
