I don’t have a problem with this signing for the future, especially now TOB has gone. So we’ve upgraded there, great.
I think we are light in terms of a defensive midfielder. KD was playing well and we don’t really have anyone who can put their foot in. The one we have just signed is injured, even if he is that type of player.
Not exactly what you want when we’re chasing promotion.

Modern possession based football for some is boring,but every team is doing it at different levels.
It's Third division football what does anyone expect Man City they need to watch the opposition for a change and think are they more or less boring than us.

I really like these sort of signings.
When you get a player from the lower league's, you do wonder how many levels above you can get them to play at.
With players who've come from top prem academies, you might get a player with a better football upbringing and a higher ceiling. Not always obviously, but they aren't at top academies for nothing.
Southampton is a prem academy or had been for most of his time and a well known producer of top talent too.
Working under Critch and in a positive environment, this is the sort of signing we want to develop and that fits the model.
Plus, the main indicator I go off is what word is used to describe the signing on the club website article.
The club sometimes say pleased but...

There’s this new invention (not sure if you’ve heard of it) called “The Internet”, that allows people from thousands of miles away to see the exact same you see while at a match. I have the internet so I am able to watch as many matches as I want and I see the same game you do, funny world!

Wouldn't read too much in to what the club puts out when a player signs. It's once they start playing and Critchley tries to shoehorn them into a role they don't know or won't pick them as they're not CJ Hamilton and things like that.

Exactly, there's been loads of players that have left clubs because they wernt good enough and then gone on to be excellent. Sometimes a club not think a player is good enough gives them an extra edge to prove them wrong.

It is for me, at my age now if I’m in an away nd I can only see one half of the pitch properly! If I was back n Blackpool I’d have to consider a seat in the West on the halfway line! How has that happened?

He certainly doesn't deserve a league start ahead of Morgan. Under the radar type of player but for me he never does enough to make you think he should be starting.

Yes ,but Yates and Bowler brought in good money and 1 or 2 others have gone with undisclosed fees. We will never get massive money for any of our players because of the division they are in . Yet if you forget the money and look at the improvement over the last couple of years [even with poor managers ] Dougle ,CJ , Yates , Bowler, Husband , Gabriel , Ecky . Most pool fans would say that they are all playing better and they cost us little. A bit like Finnigan.

I don't think he'll be dev squad tbh. He's already done well at Crewe on loan in the top half of L2. We've paid a fee for him. He'll train with the first team when he's fit enough to start training, but won't break into the XI this season, methinks.
