Have you ever wanted BFC to lose?

Seen a few on here who'd love us to lose the next 3 games. Don't understand that mentality however I do remember laughing every time Neil McDonald's side lost. Didn't want the relegation, was hoping we'd finish 20th to stay in League One but there was a warped enjoyment in watching him fail.

Only ever wanted BFC to lose once , , , actually it wasn't so much BFC I wanted to lose as the pervious bunch of Asset Strippers and only in the High Court

Maybe back in the 80s when you were surrounded by potential violence there was the odd moment when losing seemed more preferable than being splattered over the pavement.

Remember Stoke away in the 70's. I was still at school. We were leading 2-1 & the Bootham End emptied making their way to the open end where we were. The police seemed to bugger off. Really wouldn't have minded an equaliser at that moment.

It was stupid to think that ending up non league would get rid of them.
Never wanted us to lose. Made me cringe reading those wanting the other team to win when in League 2.

Nope, never. The only time I would want us to lose is if we were mid table Championship playing the team in second with Preston needing to better that teams result for promotion!

I want us to win every game, but if we lose, say this Saturday then I expect the guillotine to have been sharpened and prepared for use the following day. I think Critchleys comment in his post match interview on Tuesday says it all, and I'm surprised it's been practically ignored on here. He said a win and there are plenty of points to go for and if we lose then it will be the inevitable. I know what I took that to mean. Maybe Sadler has put him under time scale pressure, who knows?

No. I have mentioned on other posts that if we lose the next three then Critchley will be in serious trouble, but as much as I think it's time for a change I want us to win every game.

Never wanted BFC to lose but at the hight of NAPM and the boycott lost complete interest and wasn’t interested in the results.
I was praying for a win the other night at Cheltenham but might as well have lost 6-0 as apposed to 2-0! No points is no points and a real thumping (and some would say we were fortunate not to get) would have really ramped the pressure on Critchley to be sacked.

I’ve lowered my expectations on promotion this season, but we better not lose against
Posh in the EFL Trophy, as my kids are desperate to see Blackpool at Wembley.
* albeit being an expensive day out for us

Admitting he doesn't know what he was doing on the radio Blackburn X interview should have seen him gone a few hours later.

Part of me maybe wanted to think that way during the boycott but I never could. Indifferent yes, but never ever wanting us to lose.

I didn't want us to lose at the time and was gutted losing to West Ham
in 2012 play off final.
As it turned out, it was a great result, because being a 100 million plus richer
we'd have never got rid of the previous owners.
Still dislike West Ham though
The club was scheduled to be sold with a deal agreed if we had won that game . Losing scuppered it , the potential new owners only wanted a premier league club .

NAPM years was happy to lose. Certainly in the early days of Oyston out it was a poor run of form that helped gather momentum, towards the end was happy to win again for in the knowledge the end was nigh.

I dont know about "want" but its been discussed before when we have a tough job on in the league with few players available that it might be a blessing to go out of the cup.Even in those circumstances you still find yourself wanting to win though.

Yes I did during the boycott to squeeze more mushrooms out & bring about change, I'll admit I was bitter about the whole thing. Of course nobody could have hoped for the courts to actually side with Belokon & us to the extent they did. I was wrong in hindsight but hey ho. So don't mess with me. 😂

I think in the dark days of the Oyston's when fans were being sued, banned and all sorts going on behind the scenes I was indifferent to the results as a win for BFC was a win for them, but it was not easy not minding if my team won or lost.

Mind you it was made easier as Karly boy had banned me for Bloomfield Rd as he didn't like the tone of my posts on here, fortunately I stayed on the right side of the libel law and didn't have to put up with what TAM and a number of others had to.

When they sued my mate Paul Crashley on BHS, I wanted them to lose. This is where Gary Bowyer was brilliant. He managed to turn that around and created a likeability that made you want them to win again.

Why do people want to lose the next three games?
