7500 season ticket's sold

I'm a bit surprised that our match ticket prices haven't caused a bit more of a reaction. Particularly the £28 category. In the most deprived local authority in England.

I guess if there's only room for 10k home fans and about 8000 season ticket holders, you can push the price up for the remainder. It's a huge price increase.

That is what you pay for most games in the Championship these days.

I'm sure it is but does it justify such a huge increase in one go, especially in a town with Blackpool's low pay economy?

And does it explain the poor average gates at Championship clubs? Seems over priced to me.

Has anyone heard when season tickets will be ready for collecting
From scanning it seems hard to see them going down, if anything more have appeared, but given the coubt I did was 300 ish over, maybe this explains, in some way.

No idea whats going on.

I suppose in fairness they have offered season tickets at around £15 a pop and in order to maximise revenue from away fans and 'big game Charlie's' then £28 is actually a clever tactic.
Season tickets are about £350 a pop.

£28 isn't that clever if you deter your own people from attending, IMO.

Will there still be the red button option on Sky for midweek championship games?
If there is Tuesday night crowds will take a big hit.

It's obviously priced to encourage people to buy STs. And more or less the same price as WBA who have got a lot more money than us.

On the match day prices - it's £26-32 to watch Sheffield Wednesday his season. I think BOTH are too dear, but it's an interesting comparison.
