A few things that bug me in the close season

People claiming we will walk League 1. Based on what exactly?

League 1 next year should be easy, just look at the teams! Nonsense, some good sides in our division.

I could go on...

If anyone is mentally incapable of fiddling with themselves, as a Dr I suggest they get their testosterone levels checked.

I've not much interest in pre season and try and have the longest summer break from football I can. Think the last pre season game I went to was Athletico Bilbao and that was only to see the new stands!
Southport away streaming on one fixed camera on you tube doesn't float my boat when there's Cricket and Golf to go at.
 
Run chases that are too obvious, with the original poster commenting too many times to up his average.
Ian Holloway threads, loved his time with the club and probably the best football of my lifetime, but it's over and never to be recreated.

Fleetwood may get Academy 2 status courtesy of Poolfoot but they don't have better players than us.
But I agree we do need to move up a level ASAP but we are still attracting Cat 2 standard players as evidenced by regularly beating teams at that level.

Yes, good. But the age old question will out. When will we get a return on these lads? I know you don't know. I'm doing my frustrated stance.

I think there would have been more chance with Dobbie than Critch in charge.
But then I put my Welsh Phil hat on and say that's why Critch got the job.
 
I'm still waiting with baited breath for our most common statement over the last 3 or 4 seasons transfer windows. It goes something like:-
"We are trying to sign Ollie Norwood from Peterborough."

People calling everyone “guessers” when they discuss anything remotely about the football club and signings.
 
I think actually the world of the internet/social media bugs me now. I didn't live in Blackpool growing up and so never saw the Gazette and so the only contact I had with Blackpool in the summer was an occasional line in the Sunday People and the Clubcall headline! In hindsight was actually lovely to switch off until my Shoot League Ladders came through the door!

A bit cruel.

I can't say I venture too far myself but I think the the chat on here re holiday destinations and where to go and where not to go and what to do and what not to do are an example of what is good on AVFTT.

Maybe you were just joking and my reply was overly gay and apologies if that was the case.

Totally agree @the_dog (says me who has just spent the first 30 mins of the day scouring AVFTT for any news!)
 
Things that bugs me are odd numbered years when you don't get an international tournament to follow 🙁
