A trained soldier

Harry’s latest attack in his new book, claims that William grabbed him by his collar, ripped his necklace, and threw him to the floor, falling onto a dog bowl which shattered cutting his back. Shaken, he got up and told William to leave. This is his way of getting his brother and father back which he said he wanted to do this week.

I somehow don’t see Harry with his training meekly falling and not responding. If true of course, it’s dynamite, but again, he must know that if it wasn’t the end already with his family, it is now.

Shameful imo to do this to your family, and even worse that it’s for money.

I always thought that William was a potential entrant into Britains strongest man. He looks mean and rough, like an East end gangster.

Harry was lucky to survive with scratches and not a Chelsea smiler. Poor lad

I’m glad his therapist could help him through this PTSD

Surely part of his army training is to respond with appropriate force, or not at all?

Nah, he's making up the impact of some of this nonsense.

You seriously think William could fight sleep - me neither.

I've no doubt they've rumbled, we all have. I've scrapped with TSSBro and we are far bigger than them two - but there's no way we'd cry about it in a book.

There's a point where, even the most naïve Americans, are going to say, "really?"

I hope the money is worth it for H&M.

They appear to be more of a wrestling family than boxers 🥊, which is just a well for the mard arsed one, as Wills could pack a good punch.
Whenever I'd punch my older brother on his hooter, bringing claret, he never cried about it 🤣

Wills broke Harold's necklace and rumour has it he damaged his ankle bracelet too. No wonder the ginger fella was angry.

Lovely to see Harry serving a useful purpose on this thread @gammonlivesmatter
I think we are only responding to what we are reading.

I'm hoping most of it is made up and not actually what he's got somebody to write on his behalf as it appears to be a load of old pony and is giving most right-minded folk a good laugh.

Do you actually believe a proper soldier, who liked 25 Taliban (albeit from the air in an Apache) was frightened when his brother was physical with him and snapped his necklace? Honestly, you think that's true?

He doesn't know when to stop. Everybody else is to blame, nothing is ever his or his wifes fault.
It has to stop after the book comes out because there's nothing left, he will become an irrelevance.
He reminds me of when you were late teens and knocking about with a group of mates and one got a girlfriend that completely turned his head and you never saw him again. Until three years later when it's all gone wrong and he wants to start coming out again.

I wonder which demographic he is playing to here?
We know the more mature and middle aged male of Avftt thinks the whole thing is a farce.
The couple of ladies (not really a large sample size I know) I discussed with did not jump to his aid (and had in the past in regards to his ‘family needs’).

So which demographic reads this and thinks “Oooh that Bill Windsor is a rum ‘un, poor Henry haven’t to put up with that!”?

The thick, easily led Yanks?

It's not the young lads either as taking to my son's and their mates, they don't "get it" and think he's just a bit hypocritical. They think he's punching too.

I think he's just trying to make money and exaggerating things just enough to have an element of truth (I'm sure him and his brother had a bit of a scrap, but there's no way he was that arsed about it). Trouble is, he can only"announce" it once and then it's just stale.

It's going to be "oh and there this other time at State Banquet when my father forgot to introduce me to an ambassador of Guinea Bissau and I was soooooo hurt" soon.

It's actually very funny when it's as childish as this.

The best thing the rest of the family can do, is ignore that yapping from the corner.

I think this is a bit like Brexit. about who you believe. You, I nor anyone else knows what actually happened over all these years. Many stories have circulated over the years about some royals poor behaviour (being kind) including the King.

Think the whole institution is now, post the Queen, looking like an increasing anachronism.

Still, all this stuff keeps the real news off the front pages, so it's doing Rishi a power of good.

Wow! A dig at brexit and the PM in a thread on the Royal family. Well done.

I think his wife has been targeted by the press when I’ve not seen anything to suggest she isn’t a lovely person.

The family have chosen not to defend them and some of the negativity press has originated from their offices, that is a betrayal.

Harry’s mother was killed after being ostracised by the same family and hounded by the same newspapers.

I can see where he’s coming from.

So you think we've all lost the power of critical thinking?

Cop out, absolute cop out
Critical …. Certainly

Thinking …. I guess

But critical thinking, not even close

did you even consider that William might be a violent bully. Who knows, maybe he even slaps Kate around when he gets a bit stressy

That's called myopia
What brings you to that conclusion?

What’s she actually done wrong? I’ve followed it a little bit since the documentary as I wanted to see what the fuss was all about. Looks like a character assassination by the press from what I’ve seen.

Do you seriously think he would have made it up though, frightened or otherwise?
Personally I don’t think I do, but obviously I have no way of knowing, and probably never will.
Either way it looks like “the balloon has gone up” now.

He's selling his only asset (his Royal family insight) and is milking it for all its worth - with a touch of exaggeration to increase its worth.

I've not heard anything (and I've not watched any of the docuseries) which is much more than normal family beef.

I have a niece who is married to a Nigerian lad, and there were conversations about "who he would look like" in the same way all babies are talked about.

I've got a relative serving probably 5 years into a 18½ year stretch behind bars (in which I gave evidence against him) for worse than Andrew; and there will be thousands more just like us.

I could keep going; it's only 'interesting' because it's Royal, and even then it's not that interesting, si he needs to add an additional, if incredibly childish, slant on everything.

Yes I certainly know what you mean about families!
I won’t bore you with the ridicules of mine, but at least we haven’t been born straight into the public eye, seen our mother hounded and chased to her death by the press and paparazzi, our girlfriends continually scared off by the tabloids, and then our wives taunted and humbled by them for several years.
Harry sounds quite rational under the circumstances.
He is where he is, and deserves some backers in my opinion.
The whole caboodle of The Royal Family, and our Feral Press is totally ridiculous, just as much as the Netflix programmes the memoirs and all the bloody rest of it!

BUT, without the sprinkling of the magic dust (which will keep the press interested) what are they?

Is far better that they are able to be interesting to the public, otherwise they are irrelevant, and at that point, it's a short hop to 'why bother.'

As with most institutions, they want good press, not bad press, they want to control what is said about them etc etc. They are no different.

Of course he might be a violent bully; he might also be a closet homosexual for an I know.

There's little evidence of William being anything other than a boy who went through exactly the same issue of losing his mum who is now being used as cannon fodder by someone trying to sell a book and a docuseries.

So far there are enough inconsistencies for me to say, I think Harry is blowing this stuff up or of proportion to what took place.

And if you think a bloke who appeared to enjoy life in the Army, racist nicknames and all, was scared of his brother, then that's up to you. I don't. And that's up to me.

The best thing the palace can do is what they always do, stay silent in public, plus ignore him in private. He’s shot his bolt now and the only way he can keep this going is if they respond. Hopefully the media will lose interest in him and his boss, Meghan.

It's completely tedious all this. The only Royal happy about it all is Randy Andy who is staying out of the limelight.
What I don't understand are the morons who buy the revelation books. Are they all there?

Like another poster said above, its all a bit brexit in terms of dividing views. I personally like Harry, it took a lot of balls leaving the royal family in that manner. With regards to making money out of them, I think I would do the same if my mother had been treated that shabbily and I was forced to walk behind the hearse in front of billions like a circus freak. Maybe William needs to grow a pair and stop being a patsy, being a future king sounds like hell on earth. Zero power, zero life all because of a misfortune of birth. Its cruel to have to go through it, wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. I've never fathomed why the public are interested and expect the royals to act in a certain manner, it's a modern day irrelevance.
