Anyone worried that PNE might actually reach the play offs

Reaching the 'Play-Offs' isn't the issue.
Winning the Final is what counts, as we very well know.πŸ˜„
If they do, who will they be up against?
There are some good teams hard for it to happen.

If the Sky highlights were anything to go by, they were very lucky not to lose to a pretty poor Posh team. Another well taken goal by Archer who looks like Simms MK2

i posted a thread on this a couple of weeks ago ,and got shot to pieces ,for even suggesting this πŸ€’,yes i am very worried

Don’t come over here was directed at the manager, and you base your view on that video?
Serious question do you know what pne fans think of big fat booo man
I’d also be interested if BFBM knows he’s become somewhat of a celebrity on this side of the 55
Don’t get me wrong I’m not having a go at pne I’d just love to know

From what I can tell, outside of Twitter and on here nobody knows anything about him.

I hope they get to the play offs, after all we all know how that will end up, the same as usual with the M6 full of Nobbers driving home in tears😭

With the likes of Middlesbrough Forest and Sheffield Utd gathering pace added to those already up there I make that 7 clubs below Fulham vying for a spot already and if WBA wake up that's 8 clubs

With our game in hand and 3 points to come at Deepdale I wouldn't worry as that makes 9.

They’re finding ways to win games at the moment and losing very few. Anyone who says they aren’t alarmed should take off their tangerine tinted glasses.

However, the teams around the have much better quality and games in hand. Preston will hit a bad patch, we hope. But then again, there’s always that one team who makes a late charge for the play off’s. If this year it was PNE, I’d be wounded.

Be honest.....it's Cameron Archer that's got them where they are....which is mid table (as usual)
He's been their one saving grace for 2 or 3 games where they would have lost....and he's got 5 or 6 goals in as many games.
Stevie G must be wetting himself for his return next season.

100% Archer wont be at PNE next season....If he keeps scoring, they could move up
But the quality teams around them and now that clubs know the only one's scoring is Risi (?) & Archer will just mark them out of the game...
So it's going to be more 0 - 0 or 1 -1 guaranteed and the word....boring or shocking to describe the Lowe-commotion

Have a look at the amount online now and other times you silly sod. It's almost always more, sometimes a lot more.
How many members do you have?
Yes, you're getting more online at one time but that's just because you're all excited about reaching the heights of the championship.
It'll be a different story this time next season when the harsh realities of the championship start kicking in. :)

This site is only 2 years old tbf, so it's not going to have the random members who build up and then vanish over time, from all sorts of fanbases etc. Pne online probably counts all the pool fans who joined and then got banned.

But it does already have more online then pne online most times, which is the only real measure, whenever I've looked anyway, maybe the bfc fanbase is bigger and just more widespread than other places or maybe the internet in Preston is still taking off....

But actually I think we do take more to Wembley so wouldn't surprise me if our fanbase is just widely spread.

Or maybe Blackpool fans live in the 21st century, whereas Nobbers only have the 19th to think about.

We have the Internet, they have telegrams and the carrier pigeon.

Nothing wrong with carrier pigeons Wiz, lovely things, Captain Blackadder was nearly shot for shooting Speckled Jim.

Just 2 years, I'm surprised tbh. There's no way of knowing what the real fanbases are, all the banter will always say we're the biggest whether you're a Nobber or a Lasher, but I think, all things being be equal, we would attract the larger attendance. From memory we sold less than 30K tickets for the last PO final but so many of us were just sick to death of losing PO finals and the disappointment that goes with it.

We need to play each other in the PO final, then we'd know for sure! πŸ˜ƒ

We are well and truly in the here and now, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't celebrate our history and be proud of it. Arguably, we've contributed more than any other club to the development of professional football.

Yes, done for bribing officials back in 1889 and circumventing the rules on professionals. Well done. Setting the standard.

Well, this is a newer site but the old avftt ran for ages, but obviously people had to move over and any build up of casuals, other teams fans etc has to start over.

But its funny that Blackpool is just bigger on social media, more subscribers on YouTube, often many more views on videos, followers on twitter, Instagram, Facebook etc and now avftt. 😬

Considering whats happened to the club and the years spent languishing in the lower leagues and the issues with ownership and the boycott, it's pretty astounding.

Don't forget although we got promoted we did it during covid and were only allowed 4k to the playoff home game and Wembley, so missed out on the usual promotion boost of casuals attending both of them, Wembley in particular who then go on to attend the following season. There was still a buzz but its not the same as seeing your team win in person.

As for you attracting more to Wembley or Cardiff I think we've had more attend. Attending home games is where you currently have an advantage, due to capacity and have an advantage of having that ground for years where you can do deals, big games can fit the casuals all in etc and have been at a higher level more recently longer. With more people living away from Blackpool, we don't do too bad to have basically up to now a similar average attendance.

But maybe all online media indicators pointing in the same direction are trying to tell us something about the true size of the whole fanbase πŸ€” or maybe not, it would we weird though for a smaller fanbase to have more of everything, unless were just more tech savvy fans πŸ˜‰
