Are we stronger than we realise?

Possibly?

A lot is riding on Poveda and he's a bit of an unknown quantity, Corbeanu has already scored 2 goals and should have started against Blackburn imo, he's also looked a bit "unbalanced" at times. I was very excited about Patino's performance at QPR before the injury, he looked hungry and his strength and ability to hold off players and move past them effortlessly was almost "Bowler level" in terms of him displaying an ability you don't usually see in a Blackpool team.

Big if but I honestly think Patino has the potential to completely break out and be a transformational player for us. Beyond that theres a lot of unknowns, Thompson looks like a keeper though.
Nah, Thompson is definitely a left back.

I think Keogh would have struggled due to his lack of pace in Appletons system. We were sitting deeper and attacking less under Critchley. We've already been caught twice on the break this season. He would'nt have fit in in my opinion so I think his departure was best for everyone.
further to my previous post I'll add that at this point in time I think we are a fair bit weaker in the centre of defence. People shouldn't under-estimate the role Keogh played both in his positional sense and organisational ability which I think greatly helped Marv. I know it took a few games for Keogh to settle into the role and I hope Williams can do the same. But for me he's not had a good star

I think so, all our signings seem good so far. I also think Appletons a better manager than Critchley and its probably going to take a while for things to click but I think we'll finish top half this season.

I take on board what you say about Keoghs lack of pace but his positional sense was excellent and he marshalled that back line. His replacement Williams seems to lack pace too and he seems to be completely unaware of whats happening around him. So that twice caught on the break is pretty much down to Williams. Williams has had a bad start here but to balance it out so did Keogh.

Fair enough. Personnally I feel it was just the price you pay when you push foward but I'm not complaining I think the football this seasons been far more entertaining.

exactly it reflects society as a whole these days. Just go to the footie, support your team and dont take it all too seriously. Bowler is the same player most people were slagging as useless not so long ago. Im looking forward to seeing some of the new players, only weakness i see is up front but hopefully beesley will be back soon
I blame Gen Z

So many people are focusing right now on Josh Bowler's departure but it looks like we have a gem in Callum Wright who may well go on to do even better than Josh did.

With Poveda looking decent too and the injuries starting to gradually clear up over the next few weeks, plus a bit more time on the training field getting accustomed to the new style, then we might end up seeing that the pack is now stronger overall than what we had last season.
Yes

Maybe, tine will tell
We need a convincing win very very soon

Yes we might have a few ‘wannabes’ in but they’ve gotta get you points

We’re Ricky at the back and hit n miss up front - two suspensions give our injury record isbt what we need

A point or a win at Uddees is much needed

Let us pray

Poveda does look a good signing he will get even better as the season progresses
unfortunately he will go back to Leeds and we will have the problem of replacing him.
