Serious question to all.

I bought two £25 (3yr) memberships for my me and my lad on May 25th through the Armfield Club website.

to date I’ve had no contact from anyone despite numerous emails and phone calls

I realise the people who run the club are volunteers but does anyone know who or how I can get in touch with them.

I can’t pop into the club as I live in Hampshire.

thanks to anyone who can help. 👍

Every credit to you SCT for joining the Armfield Club at such great distance, but out of curiosity when did you plan on visiting the club?

If you are on Twitter send a DM to The, Armfield Club they respond pretty quick on there.

When we come up for games. We haven’t got season tickets for obvious reasons but we plan to come up as often as possible.

Also want to support the AC as they’ve done a brilliant job.
Brilliant and every credit 👏👏if you want me to pick your membership cards up then DM me with your details and I’ll sort them out for you 👍

Cheers TB. I’ll do that if i get no joy from the guys at the club. Would like to give them an opportunity to respond. Could be a tech glitch
They could be busy as every time I go past theres always something being delivered, and last week that was a commercial gas company there probably fitting a new meter and I've seen BT guys on ladders outside too.

I wouldn't worry SCT, I joined last year when it was due to open, visited before the Oxford playoff game, and still haven't got my membership card either. Like you, living away, but in Yorkshire, it's not a case of just popping in. No doubt it will be waiting for me the next time I'm over, even though I was told it would be sent in the post.

thanks for all the comments guys and offers of help. I’m going to give them a bit more time based on what Curryman has said.

A message to TangerineBayern. We tried Twitter and it seems you can’t send direct messages - bizarre.

AVFTT at it’s best people always offering to help out when needed👍. Strange that though SCT not being able to message through Twitter🤔. As Curryman says no need to worry, equally AC committee members are regulars on this board😉

I was in last week for first time and both mine and my lads cards were scanned for discount and then given to me no problem. Cant wait for match days in there. Some serious graft gone into the Place.

I did the same thing as SCT and every time one of the AC leading lights post something I mention it in the hope of a response but never get one.

I don’t mind though, the £25 has gone and presumably well spent and if I never get in then hey ho I was happy to contribute.

Say what you like about Segesta Properties, they know how to run a club 😜

Do you want me to pick it up some time, Wilf?

Quick question - the Armfield looks great and I'd love to check it out but the combination of living 150 miles away, working Saturdays and taking my daughter to her football matches unfortunately means I'll probably be lucky to get to one or two home games this season. Is it strictly members only or is there any way for my and my daughter to pop in on one-off visit if we do make it up for a game? Obviously if things change and we can get to a few games I'll get a membership but it would be nice just to have a pint and a nose around.

My understanding is that on match days it will packed out and they will limit to members only hence why on the few occasions we go up we’ll have a fighting chance to get in. Just to get into the atmosphere and be there.

obviously there’s loads of other drinking holes in the area and I hope the Seasiders Bar in the South will also reopen.

You can go in if you’re not a member, members just get a discount on drinks, there are 3 floors so they can accommodate plenty, was in the other day and the place is fantastic 👍

Not often you can say ‘Me too’ on here these days without wading into a sh*tstorm one way or t’other 😉 - BUT got my card delivered this morning also.

Many thanks, much appreciated & look forward to visiting in due course.

Wilf,
The fit and proper test might be at issue for some 🙄

The Seasiders Bar in the south is now the ticket office and club shop. There's the corner flag bar in the hotel.
