Probably works out better for us with out current injury problems 👍
So what about the ones that have non refundable train travel or do you not travel? For the best my Jacksie😯 giving a thumbs up you are a clown

Hopefully a bit of rest and a chance to get some players back to full fitness. Given how crucial this fixture could be, it would be nice to have Keshi, Husband and any new signings available.

So you don’t travel then, none of you business then really👍🏻

Nice weekend in Barnsley. Calypso Cove. Take your trunks.
To be honest, last time we stayed we had a good night. An Indian and visited a few good pubs. Good banter with the Barnsley fans too.
So, maybe go for a night out again.

On a personal level I was looking forward to it, but ultimately it could help us with returning injuries and signings

Barnsleys offical website yesterday said they were ready to play their first 2022 game this weekend, against Blackpool & had a write up on us

Gutted was so looking forward to this. Gunna be a Tuesday/weds night game now but we will still go to the rearranged game

I've booked a non-refundable Premiere Inn as well 👎
Phone them up and tell them you have got Covid. They won’t give you a refund, but they will give you a credit so you can book somewhere else.

We had to do that when a show in Manchester was cancelled last weekend

A change of date is better than nothing

Called them and I can re-arrange the date within an 18 month timeframe. I'll have to change to maybe March then change again when the re-arranged fixture date is announced.

I feel sorry for all the people on here and elsewhere who've already forked out money for this.

Just who monitors the cancelling club to confirm that players HAVE tested positive, or have they asked just one positive player to do half a dozen more positive tests and purport them to be from other players?

With the exception of buying a refundable match ticket, it’s risky pre-booking travel & accommodation in these times.
We have booked a couple of Premier Inns for the next few months. Because of all the uncertainty I always book the Flex rate which allows cancellation right up to the day. It's dearer but I think worth it under the current circumstances.

Not pleased it’s off, but we will benefit from another week off and it’ll be interesting to see how things go elsewhere with those teams that have games in hand. Not playing and not moving much in the table would be a bonus.

Cheating Yorkshire shoite. They'll be recruiting during their free time and getting players fully fit.
This may benefit our injury hit squad, but not those supporters (not me) who've paid out cash for trains etc.
I hope we've a stronger team by the time we play them & this 'con' backfires on them.

Agree, but we'll also benefit for the same reasons on the field hopefully.

Has anyone one got 12 month travel insurance??.. If you have you can claim on that, it's not just for your trips abroad. If you can get it cheap enough worth getting every year for your trips abroad and situations like this.
