Why in this day and age can’t they have an app / website that updates a bit more instantly and accurately, it’s not hard. And it’s always ** up and changing then changing back.

i only have a payg mobile, but agree with your sentiments. The BBC is shocking with keeping upto date with football news. Lower league teams just don't seem to feature with regards to getting team news an hour before kick off and sometimes even right up to kick off they still haven't done it. Shockingly bad.

The league(s) sell the second-by-second data via an API which is more expensive based on how near-to-real-time you need it. So, for example, betting apps will happily pay a few million quid per year for updates just a few seconds old as they can make more money from that accuracy.

Due to historic reasons, and budget constraints, the BBC prefer to use their own correspondents (who are usually at the grounds anyway) blended with a data source which is a couple of minutes behind occasionally.
 
Just use Google, type championship table and all the scores are pretty quick on there when games are live, when you click the individual games that is.

It was an odd one, I thought it's him as I could tell it was, but at points I was questioning it, as it sounded quite different, was it really him?

But later on a few of the usual phrases and then mixing up Rogers and Gabriel, Patino then became the recently subbed Poveda....

Ahhh relief, change your voice to hide all you want Chizzy, but it's definitely you. 😂

Always irritates me that you have to scroll about all over the place to find attendance figures and some matches they never appear
 
Not sure who does the BFC goal updates but they are always spot on .. team news is always late but can't complain at the rest 👍
