Best Mobile Network @ Bloomfield Rd?

Seem to recall this may have been aired previously but despite my best efforts I can’t find anything.

However, from your own experiences how do you find your coverage of your network provider, on match days at Bloomfield Rd. I’m with Sky (supported by O2supposedly), and it’s atrocious…..always unable to search the internet / get football scores etc.

Looking around from my seat I see plenty of other supporters have no such issues.

O2 has literally no data at all from the stadium and as far as the last of the Lonsdale car parks. Awful.

It’s very good in London though 😉

Last year I tried to sell wireless access points into the club and was told they'd selected a local provider...12 months on and still no coverage.

That's comforting as I sit there staring into the middle distance with this on.

I’m on Sky and coverage is non existent but it’s the same even in the town centre or prom on a busy Saturday

I tried Sky but had to leave after contract. The data piggy bank is good but it uses the o2 network so second priority. Anywhere busy and no chance. That was the case in the Fylde, might be different elsewhere.

Always go back to Vodafone. Can easily get signal in the ground apart from on the concourse. It might suffer slightly with big crowds but that isn't a problem the way we are playing.

I’m on o2 and last season I had nothing in the ground. For some reason this season I’m able to get online in D block

I'm on ID Mobile which use Three network and the signal is really good in South Stand. Move from O2 as it was garbage in and around the ground.
I'm on ID too in the West, no issues although I do find it a tad slower than my previous provider Vodafone.

Whatever did happen to those huge purple and white signs we had up the West proclaiming the internet service across the Fylde as a club partner and allegedly going to connect us all in the ground.

It isn't hard ffs, at Brizzle City opening game back at this level there were plenty of signs advertising their free internet for UAE within the ground and the password to connect.
Happy to sit through a 30 second targetted ad if it meant people could connect better inside Bloomers.

Thought we had partnered with a Wi-Fi provider. I’m on 02 and can’t get a signal within 1/2 mile of the ground let alone inside. Fkin shite. And TBF in this day and age club should be providing free Wi-Fi cuz it would cost fck all relatively!

I have to rely on the bloke in front - I'll ask him his network at the next home game as I get nothing from O2!

As I mentioned above an approach was made and the door was closed.

I'm with Virgin, now partnered with O2 and they are proving, so far, top be a bag of you know what. Following a problem I reported and them sending my details to the wrong number, i received a questionnaire from them yesterday asking how my conversation with them had gone and how I would rate them. I gave them 0 out of 10 for each question.

Yes the recurring theme throughout this thread so far appears to be that O2 and any of its partners, are far from satisfactory.

O2 user here, can't do anything in the ground and to be fair, the signal throughout the majority of Blackpool is extremely poor
