Don't see the point in the 1 away game personally, should have just done: Season Ticket Holders to General Sale.

Just read it again, there is the possibility of getting more tickets if we sell our allocation so this should have just been whacked on general sale.

Yeah around 3700 available so yeah general sale I’d have said too
Only leaves two days where people can buy on general sale

Fucksake more annoying tiered sales... it should just be fastest finger first! People know when they're on sale... either get in a queue (if your still analogue 🙄) or buy online on release date! 🤬💩

I'll jump on this later.

Let's sell it out, not had a massive pool crowd away in a while.

Edit... Or maybe Monday.... 😀

Club really dropped the ball here. We should be learning from what's happened with the Preston tickets, not repeating the same mistakes.
It's probably fine tbf, spreads it out a little too.

Just ensures all st holders who go away will get one then st holders, then general.

Tbh all who want will probably get one anyway but no real harm here.

I'd agree with that and the approach itself if the allocation was much less but with 3.6k to shift in just 2 weeks, we need to be casting the net wider to create a buzz. Without the Preston match just days before and the issues with tickets that approach has caused coupled with the usual window of 4 weeks to purchase, we could have sold out the Darwen End. Just feels like we're protecting STHs too much rather than going for volume which is what we should be doing.

As you say, any STH that will want to go with have the opportunity to, so why not afford that to everyone from the outset.

The general sale needs pushing back to Monday doesn't leave much time to get them sent out on the Wednesday before the game.
Ahh didn't realise they put it back that far, only skim read parts of the op.

Thought it was all on sale in the same week a day apart 🤡

Yeah thats too far.

Should just be st holders 1 away day on mon, all st holders on tue and General sale on Wed 30th.

The 6th... thats too much of a wait 🤔

That not enough time for general sale, no need to limit it to such a small window.

Glad you mentioned as I haven't got a clue how teams allocate whether it's from the back down, front up, lower then upper. Sure make it more difficult than they need to.

Maybe update the op?

At least this site's grumblings are being looked at. 👍
Not sure if was the slo as not online since Monday, unless he's browsing as a guest.

But whoever it is, they should listen to more ideas from here 😬

I know they say the site is monitored.

Well done BFC!

Is the initial 1489 for the upper tier and the next 2200 the lower?

I hate it in the upper; want to be lower!
Same, but imagine everyone waiting until Friday or until the first batch is sold... might never sell.

Annoying way of doing it, looks like a lot of the top boys and girls will be in the top tier, may just have to go with the flow and lead the songs from there...

On the plus side get in early could get near the front of the the upper. Upper closer to roof so could be louder. Think its the section with the flag

They alway sell top tier first.
Your really lucky though they classed our meeting as cat A match It was £30 a ticket for us .
They must have decided you weren’t as big a pull as us 😉

It isn't as big a derby for us or them as it is for you.

But I am surprised they haven't hit us with the top price regardless, we did for them, but im not a fan of the top category pricing.

Be interesting to see how many they would release after these 2 batches, as the article says more can be got should demanded require, as Blackburn are selling in the stand but only had sold about 14..... so might get those few people moved, like happened in he past due to lack of demand.

We have had 6,000 & 7000 in last 4 years & quite a lot of fans in hospitality areas .
Over 4500 this season due to us been in bottom 3 & price hike which a lot boycotted.

Remember the good old days if you wanted a ticket for a game you just bought one.
All this tiered crap leaves me cold.

Yep, and we just got in cars or a coach and drove there, or got on a train and let the train take the strain.

Non of this posting on websites for advise on where to park, where's everyone drinking and whats the best station to get off at etc that appears on here nowadays 🥺

I've always wondered why on away allocations instead of it being split to area 1 and area 2 they don't split it to take into account the young uns and the chanters and standers and then the say families and older or others who whilst still chanters may prefer to sit a bit more. Everyone's happy that way.

Almost like a home game for some of your lot, but still got to fill it so fair enough.

But I hope we take a lot and it might not be a hated derby so far, but the more we play them you never know.

If we were to beat them and hindered their chances of the playoffs, a big celebrating end of pool fans probably isn't going to be that popular.....

I think the circa 3,600 tickets initially are the entire top tier. If they go then they will open up the other half of the lower tier.
