Apols if already posted somewhere but there is a documentary of our season in the PL - available on Amazon Prime if you have it.

Its a bit like a Ian Holloway show but really bought back some amazing memories and is quite funny in places. As usual Karl does not come over too well

Watching that back, how the flying fuck did any of that happen? Modern day footballing miracle that team of players got up to the Prem and got 39 points. And the fact that doesn't account for those set of absolute criminals leading the club making it difficult for the players and manager to perform, it's legit one of the most ridiculous stories in modern football.

Sheer force of personality from the manager and a secretly very gifted group.

Players checked into the hotel in Newcastle and were made to wait in reception as the bill hadn't been paid from the previous stay a few months earlier.

.....you just couldn't make it up.

Thanks for that, was a good watch 👍

Edit to add: There's a book called 'How to be a football manager' by Ian Holloway that I've just read. Some interesting little things in there that I didn't know about from his time with us. A good read. And I don't read books lol

A great watch that brought tears once again. How great were those days for us fans eh? Players, manager, staff.... legends!

Also available on BT Sport, tragic we were relegated, been watching Pool since 1960, this is the best team and football I've ever seen the Blackpool play!
