That’s the spirit!I have a strong feeling that our run of 1-0 wins will come to an end!

I was going to put maybe 2-0. You never know
Horrible Skates disgracing the leagueWrong thread but great goal from Barnsley at Pompey in 7th minute
I felt the same but with a quick turnaround for a Friday night game, against Steve Evans bruisers, they'll need to pick themselves up and go again with the Sky cameras there to add a bit more pressure. I still expect them to make it but all bets will be off if they choke again. Ultimately we just need to focus on beating Barnsley and taking it to the last game of the season.Feels like Oxford are gone. Barnsley is the more realistic target given their form is collapsing. Unfortunately even if they lose to Pompey and us, their last game is Northampton at home
I think the"too many silly mistakes" is an indication that we are not good enough, but at least our season is still alive with only two games to go. A little more quality injection in January may have got us over the line, but two of our signings on deadline day were not first team ready. Says a lot about how much the owner is willing to invest!Barnsley and Oxford both losing still means we have a slim chance, obviously still depends on other results, all we can do is get loud and support the lads over the line. A lot of things went against us this season otherwise I reckon top 4. Too many silly mistakes cost us.
However #UTMP
A win on this day whether it gets us in the playofs or not, would be so special.
Definitely all it needed was a couple of experienced players to help get the team playing properly. Would be a different story totally.I think the"too many silly mistakes" is an indication that we are not good enough, but at least our season is still alive with only two games to go. Your last sentence is so far off the mark. I take it you haven´t thought about all the off-field investment to secure the future of the club. Our club is in excellent hands for the first time in decades. Evans has fooked off to Rotherham apparently !I felt the same but with a quick turnaround for a Friday night game, against Steve Evans bruisers, they'll need to pick themselves up and go again with the Sky cameras there to add a bit more pressure. I know, the bruisers remain, hopefully they're even angrier than usual.Evans has fooked off to Rotherham apparently !
Hospitality all sold out tooNot many tickets left in the North.
Moretti lounge sold out.
Will be a great atmosphere on Saturday.
I am not blaming the owner, just making a statement about investment in the first team. I am sure we are in safe hands and unlikely to have points deductions and other sanctions because of overspending!Your last sentence is so far off the mark. He hasn't got fathomless pockets. He's doing his best. UTMP!I am not blaming the owner, just making a statement about investment in the first team. I am sure we are in safe hands and unlikely to have points deductions and other sanctions because of overspending!
I am sure he is. It is his money and he can do exactly what he likes with it, including not overspending on the first team. At least we will still exist as a club no matter which division we are in!He hasn't got fathomless pockets. He's doing his best. UTMP!
What do you want in practical terms ? A viable club with a good infrastructure? Stick with SS. Of course we all want to be in the Championship but the guy can't pay for and do everything. Bad timingEvans has fooked off to Rotherham apparently !
What is it with your understanding of English. There is nothing I have said that does not agree with what you have said. We don't want the owner overspending on the first team. We would rather have a viable club whatever division we are in. It is his money and we do not expect him to buy the Bishops and Brannagans of this world! What do you want in practical terms ? The players of Byers and Coulson quality won’t be first team ready otherwise they would be playing in the first team. They both got up to speed pretty quick.I think the"too many silly mistakes" is an indication that we are not good enough, but at least our season is still alive with only two games to go. What went against us this season that wasn’t self-inflicted? We sold Yates, we played players out of position for no good reason and in a system they repeatedly demonstrated were not suited to. We perpetually sit deep to defend a one nil lead, bring on subs at seventy minutes and have not been taught how to defend as a team. In a word we have been Critchified.Barnsley and Oxford both losing still means we have a slim chance, obviously still depends on other results, all we can do is get loud and support the lads over the line. More chance of Snow White having 7 up.We will be flying out of the country at 15.30. Fully expecting us to be 3 up by then for a relaxing flight. COYP
We will indeed!! Our home form is poor and they are safeIf we can beat them they'll be super nervous against Northampton.
Promised my lad we would go to reading if still in itDon't blow it tomorrow BFC. I want an exciting day out at Readng.
Now there's a sentence I never thought I'd read.Don't blow it tomorrow BFC. I want an exciting day out at Readng.
Same !Promised my lad we would go to reading if still in it
'... In a word we have been Critchified ...' - and, generally performed, especially on our travels, as though we were petrified! What went against us this season that wasn’t self-inflicted? Nothing wrong with my understanding of English. Oh,at least put a question mark (?) after your question. UTMP.What is it with your understanding of English. To be fair, and if memory serves, the miscreant responsible for the 'wicked deed', was Billy Casper's elder half-brother Jud, and, although a decidedly unsavoury character, I don't think we're in any position to be able to state, with any degree of certainty, he either was, or wasn't, a Tykes fan.I’ve not forgot what they did to Kes, into these Kestrel Killers
